This was a good performance by Saunders but I'm not sure this will work for him against Canelo. His cardio will have to be much improved to keep this up and I don't think he posseses the power to keep Canelo off of him. Canelo wastes no movement and punches with wickedness. If Canelo gets close enough to work that body it's over.. That said if anyone can beat Canelo it's probably BJS..

Now, not saying Smith is great because he's not, but he has more to offer in boxing than Saunders... Saunders has better defense and about equal footwork as Smith... This is all just based on Canelo's and Saunders boxing attributes... Canelo is perfect in every area... This fight is going to harm his McGregor like entertainment style... A sports person who capitalizes on that get devastated with an important loss...
