mostly mexicans because he didnt fight like mexican before, but i think haters are gone after this match with Billy Joe, he is now always moving forward like we are used to see from traditional mexican fighters. Also we were used to see our fighters full in blood in real wars in the ring, that was exciting, the thing with Canelo is he didnt gave us that emotions because he doesnt end hurt or with blood at all, thats why we thought he was only fighting bad people, but i think all ended with Billy Joe defeat, he showd us why there are no wars with him on the ring, and thats because there is no people in his level right now.

Hey! i must admit i didnt like Canelo much before too, because i hated his team for robbing GGG in the first fight. The thing is, in Mexico boxing is much more prominent than in the US which attracts a lot of fans but also a lot of nitpicking doubters and opinionated casuals especially in the social media age. On top of that, there are individuals in the boxing media that like to create controversy for clickbait-- and we're not just talking about random youtubers, even established guys on ESPN Deportes like Faitelson and Pilatti act like low level trolls. Pilatti even tried to allege that Canelo-Smith was a stage fight. No doubt they're partly motivated by the fact that DAZN represents competition to ESPN+. At any rate, people like them have an influence in shaping public opinion with their hater narratives.

He kept going? Did you actually watch the fight? Saunders had around a minute left in the round, couldn't answer for the 9th. I don't blame him, serious injury. But there were 4 "championship" rounds left, traditionally Canelo's best, after he'd closed the distance. Even w/o the eye injury, Canelo was closing in with his power shots to the body & head. I respect confident boxers, but not their trash talk. I doubt Saunders was talking much trash after the 8th round. Shouldn't have pissed Canelo off like he did. Triple G(world record 23 KOs in a row} couldn't hurt Canelo, BJ wasn't going to, which would allow Canelo to march in close enough to destroy him in 9-12.

Why did he vacate his wbc middleweight belt to fight khan and duck his mandatory GGG. Why did he vacate his WBC middleweight AGAIN to get a franchise belt and duck his mandatory Charlo? Why didn’t he go for undisputed at middleweight when he just had to fight Andrade but he’ll do it at 168 where there are weaker fighters? Why fight kovalev 3 months after his war with yarde, and not the other younger champs at 175? Canelo is the new Mayweather, cheeeypicking his opponents

Canelo learns from past masters. He always learning. The bobbing and weaving is Chavez from a square stance. Pulling from punches against ggg 2 ND fight to stay in range, Duran. Pivoting on a right angle along the ropes, Mayweather. His power comes working on various heavy bags and lifting weights like a heavy weight. And he has excellent athletic training for stamina.

I’ve loved watching Canelo since the first time he was on a card in the US that was televised, knowing his age and his skill set at that time was unreal. For him being so young back then he had the skill set of a old veteran and just seeing him perfect his skill into this last fight is just art in motion and a his strive to be the greatest Mexican fighter ever. I think Canelo is a great ambassadors or boxing, he’s humble, shows great sportsmanship and lets his skill do the talking. Canelo could easily go down as one of the greatest fighters ever to live and I hope he can make that happen and then call it quits before his speed and skill starts to diminish because it’s hard to watch older fighters keep fighting even when they know they cannot compete with the best.
@sergiomoreno68613 жыл бұрын
He's got a lot of money and a lot of bussiness ventures, he's smart about it. I don't see him fighting more than what he needs, many boxers do that out of neccesity but Canelo is set for life. I think he will retire at the peak of his career.
