To answer your question from 3:53, it’s a combination of alcohol and being in the sun too much. This can cause dehydration: alcohol is a diuretic, which causes a person to dehydrate. Dehydration may cause hallucinations. I’ve spent time at the beach and when it gets hot, you get dehydrated pretty quickly. Add alcohol into the mix and it’s probably worse.

We couldn’t believe that the school was going to let of 13 to 15 year olds watch this. When we found that the chaperone who was sitting with us was going to be our 70yo English teacher, we were sure she was going to yank us out within 5 minutes. Imagine our shock when we looked over at her at the first swear word and she was laughing harder than we were! That was one of the best field trips I’d ever been on, and because of it, this movie is very special to me.
