Soap opera star Billy Miller's mother speaks out in the wake of her son's death at 43 years old. In a statement to ‘Soap Opera Digest,’ Patricia Miller said the Daytime Emmy-winning star died after 'a long hard valiant battle with bipolar depression.'

I was & still am Absolutely Heartbroken 💔 and Saddened to know that behind his Beautiful Smile and Infectious Laugh, he was Suffering so Badly that he couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel or ask for Help at the end. I too am from Grand Prairie, Texas. Where Billy spent 5 years as a Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Crippled Children Patient, I became a Patient at 6 years old and was released from my Orthopedic Specialist Care and Referred to a local Dallas Orthopedic Specialist who specialized in a Variety of Orthopedic Issues. I had my 1st Joint Replacement Surgery at the age of 25. I also suffer from PTSD from being a Child Molestation Survivor, and I was diagnosed with Bipolar Manic Depression in my late 20's, after I started having issues with Panic Attacks, Sever Depression to the point of being Suicidal followed by bursts of Extreme Giddiness where I'd start laughing and not be able to stop. I'd laugh so hard I started Snorting like a Piglet. I was also prone to wetting myself when it happened. I did get so lost within the Depression in around 2000 that I took too many pain & anti anxiety medications over a 24 hour time frame to just shut the voices of inadequacy after my Divorce. Luckily my daughter and I had moved in with my Mom and her husband who was a Crime Scene Detective but had worked in other aspects of Law Enforcement through his 33 years on the job and he recognized immediately that I had too much medication in me and since I had not lost consciousness they gathered all my bottles and he drove me to the hospital which had a behavioral health unit on the Top Floor where after the ER cleared me, I did a 10 Day Voluntary Admission. The first 72 hours, I was on Suicide Watch and after that I did group and various types of Therapy while the Medical Team adjusted my medication routine because the month before my Pain Management Clinic Dr had changed my Pain Medication for the 3rd time and the combination of the changes to it, my Seizure, and Psychiatric Medications just wasn't working to well in my Brain and Body. I just wish Billy Miller was in a place or position where someone would have seen how BAD his Struggle has gotten. May he RIP Now. I hope he has found some Peace in Heaven. I know his Family is Struggling and I hope his Family, Friends and those who Loved Billy can pull together to get through this time together. Both of their #Weddings both as Jason and Sam and Then as #DrewCain and Sam. The #DeliveryOfBabyScout in the #Ravine in the #Snow and him Carrying both an Unconscious Sam and the Baby up the Embankment to #JasonsFootbridge to where the Ambulance 🚑 was Arriving to help transport them to #GH and Sam was still not conscious.

It is not really about loving yourself. Another creator described the lows of bipolar as being in a fog. You lose touch with reality and can only feel the pain you are feeling. It's chemical based not emotion based.

Billy Miller seemed like the kind of guy you could share a beer and a laugh with. My wife and I would debate who was the best Jason Morgan. Billy had my vote. As someone who suffers from Major Recurrent Depressive Disorder in the moderate to severe range, I encourage you to offer kindness to those who combat mental illness. The past year has been a struggle for me. My wife, who is a nurse, did not once offer support or ask me how I was during this time. She did ask me to move out at the end of July and has filed for a legal separation. Lean on friends for support during challenges such as these. My condolences to the Miller family, his friends, and fellow fans.

HI, have you seen " Honeymoon killer "? He played "Gabe " , a real life guy & his acting was REALLY GOOD. I Watched him on Y&R - I quit watching all network in 2020 cus I'm old & it was always price is right then Y&R ,when they started with the mask & then Y&R 6 ft. Apart.. I was OUT. What BS. So I had know idea what he was doing , but he just was suave & manly. I Watched Y&R for 35 yrs. Hubby & I watched NFL same , NO longer , same woke shit ruined it all.😢 RIP BILLY

@@hakukabani3788 Thank you. He just started some heavy duty horrific meds that made him think people were out to get him. Very paranoid. My father and him were driving somewhere and he opened the door of the vehicle and threw himself out onto the street. He passed away from head injuries. So “suicide is never the answer” is lost on very mentally ill people. He had a very strong relationship width God. 💔😢
