They don't dispute the transitions, they don't dispute the play style change between his disputed tapes and the newer attempts.. they don't know enough about the tec to really speak on what there talking about. I have a bit more of a look at the law in Queensland is regards to defamation. It is interesting Australia has an estimated 10 times as more defamation cases as that of the UK. This believed that the bar to prove defamation is much lower than other countries. Also interesting, is that the truth in Australia is not always a win. Thus, why I think that even Karl proves the above two, this does not mean that he will win. The ones that are interesting are. (i) The plaintiff was publicly exposed as having cheated to achieve his record scores in the video arcade game, Donkey Kong; (ii)the plaintiff was banned from submitting scores to Twin Galaxies LLC for cheating When I look more into it, BM may still win even if Karl can prove these 2 statements are true for the following reasons: If the statements were made with malice, that is had a motive beyond just sharing the truth. Contextual harm, if the statements were substantially true, however present in a was that could cause harm. If the publication causes serious harm even if true, the court may consider if the harm was justified given the public interest. I spoke with a friend in news in Australia, who was saying when they report on things they always need to try and put something positive about the person when possible to help prevent them getting sued. It seems in Australia the truth is a defence, but it is not a shield that will protect you from saying what ever you want. It will be interesting to see how this one goes, BM may win this one.

Same difficulty but obviously you can use save states. So in billy's disputed runs you see incredibly risky style of play, jumping towards fireballs on cement factory levels and so on. When he did it legitimate years later it was all safe. If you play the Us Rom set on mame it will be as hard as the og cabinet

He actually did it like a few years legitimate live on twitch but by that time it wasn't even close to a record and he was already banned. Interesting to not the play style and rng was very different to both the tapes and he played 100% safer without the save states

I have been having trouble understanding why Billy had this one in his law suit against Karl jobs (ii) the plaintiff was banned from submitting scores to Twin Galaxies LLC for cheating; Surely this would be very easy for Karl to prove so I was confused why it was there. However, after re-watching this video I was hit by a bright light. How about this: Billy Mitchell at the last possible moment will drop all the allegation other than the following: (iv) the plaintiff had callously expressed joy at the thought of Mr Smith’s death; and maybe this one (v) the plaintiff uses litigation to force third parties to recognise his achievements in videogaming. This one is the easiest one for Billy to potentially win. All the other ones Billy would put himself at risk that if he lost at court it means the jury thought that he cheated. Billy Mitchell gets nothing really trying to argue this compared to the risk if he lost, and really gets very little for the win. So it seems to me that allegations are all designed to be a red herring designed to waste time and money on discovery. I am guessing if this were to occur, Karl would make videos saying he was winning, not understanding Billy Mitchell was played him like a Mr Burns bongo the whole time. I am starting to become a believer that Billy Mitchell always has a plan. Let's see what happens.
