Such a shame this podcast is directly linked and supported by the NRL. Billy is the best talker currently and has such valuable insights into the game. Just a shame he's constricted to the shackles of his owners and won't talk up about the horrible calls by officials ruining the game.

There's nothing attractive about living in Port Moresby. What's the NRL going to do, fund security for 10 months for every individual player and staff living up there? Players won't get that attraction of being able to getaway for a weekend if they need too compared to say Perth or Cairns.

We don't need more clubs; we just need to re-distribute them. Souths and East should amalgamate, Saints and Canterbury, tigers and Eels, meaning three amalgamated clubs plus Cronulla/Illawarra, Penrith, Manly. That's six Sydney teams plus Canberra, Newcastle makimg eight from NSW. Four more from Queensland, one from Victoria, one from WA and two from NZ. Sixteen in all. There aren't enough top players for more than that.
