Guitar-wise, all of the following are also essential listening - Bill Napier, George Shuffler, Clarence White, Doc Watson, Norman Blake and Dan Crary.

Great picking all around. I think Billy is about the last real Bluegrass ruthenium guitarist, in the way of Clarence White, Charlie Wallet, and Jimmy Martin. And his lead playing has no equal , One criticism, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE BASS. Sounds like a cheap Electric
