I my husband and I saw Billy Strings at the Gorge here in Washington State, at the Gorge on August 11th, his band was fantastic. I got lucky in April, saw concert dates below his videos, saw Quincy WA & bought tickets immediately. Fortunately we have The Gorge here, it’s absolutely beautiful, it’s on the Columbia river Gorge, one of the top concert venues in the world. It’s about a half day away from us, we used to drive it straight through, to and from, we get a hotel these days. Nova Scotia is pretty far away.

@@KellyDaye Hope you get a chance to see Billy Strings someday. Now that I know that Billy plays at The Gorge regularly, we will see him when he comes back up here. Billy said in August, that he usually joins the Outdoor Festival, but this year he could only do one show with Willie, we are so lucky that he picked The Gorge, coz why we got tickets. It was a bonus for us because we love the Outlaw album in late 1975, Waylon and Willie, Jessie & Tompal, when they released Wanted: The Outaws, my friends in San Francisco played the whole double album for us and we area super happy the Outlaw Festival exists!!

We were there too. Amazing show, those lights were trippy! I thought it was great that my wife and I...and the chili peppers...were about the only old folks there! (I know that this review is quite long) Hello all, Billy Strings and his band are amazing. I've enjoyed him (and the band) when Billy had short hair. First, he's attempting to "introduce" bluegrass to a larger audience. Secondly, aside from showing everyone that he's an exceptional guitar player, the banjo player performs the solo of "Crown of Thorns" The violin/fiddle also perfoms a solo. The mandolin player is quite amazing. I believe that the stand-up bass is very talented. How about the Billy Strings Group?!?! Yeah!!!
