They were asked to be a continuous act but my uncles wife , Hilda, wouldnt move from NC, LOL. Lots of stories. Ive heard lots of bluegrass and played many years. With this said. I will tell you that I have never seen guitar talent like Billy Strings. Never. Not acoustic. Billy is the Jimi Hendrix of the acoustic guitar. And he is still getting even better. Love how he mixes bluegrass with the rock, psych and other similar genres. Absolute and complete talent. AS well as all the band members also. Incredible

I hadn't ever experienced anything like it as far as music goes and I've seen them all(I'm an old head) these guys are legitimately the tightest band I've ever seen and they continuously out do themselves each time they play. The best BMFS show is the NEXT BMFS show. And he's doing it, selling out well in advance every venue and arena they perform in and with traditional stringed instruments. You could get all the great bluegrass pioneers and contemporary greats still alive all together on one bill under one roof and they still wouldn't be able to sell out one single night in some of the places Billy plays. I know now what the term "melting your face off" means...

I miss chorin’ with my gramps on the weekends. We’d feed the horses and shovel out the turds. But he always took me to a little diner in my hometown where him and half a dozen old timers would sit and solve the world’s problems. Or he’d harness a couple ponies and take a drive and we’d both be singing “oh my darlin clementine” at the top of our lungs. He had me fooled that the louder I’d sing, the faster the ponies would trot. Of course he was just tapping the reigns below my eyes. That farm and his way of life are all but gone now. My kids are growing up in the suburbs. Kinda pity them in a way.

Okay... as great as Billy and his friends are, and...they are.... That might be the most talented Bass player ever, absolutely incredible, to keep up with that, all those transitions.Absolutely amazing

I’m 55 years old and thought bluegrass had come and gone. I can’t stand to listen to the new pop country, and most of the music nowadays has no 38:04 soul. Billy has revived bluegrass, and his and his bands talent is almost unmatched as I see it. So thankful for him and his band. The last minute where he thanked the audience was more authentic than I’ve ever seen from a musician. We are so thankful for you and your band Billy. Hopefully I will be able to come see you one day live. Keep on truckin!

I been sober a little over a year, and I'm not sure if it'd be the same without the influences from 'Home' and 'Renewal'. Alot of inspiration was pulled from the Realm of Billy Strings. Thank you for all you Fellas do. 💚

@@stevenpetrochko8225 I hear you, I think it's a reference to the Higher self and the promise lands through the Manifestation of our own reality. And the willingness to leave what no longer serves us behind. It's like an ode to "I am, That I am." But Billy's referring to Billy and his path to his higher self. That's atleast how I have internalized it. Great tune, phenomenal actually.
