My dad was named Billy, I lost him as a little girl. Grew up with his parents who always loved bluegrass, and still do. I am going through a painful breakup, so I came back home to my grandparents. My grandma said, you have to listen to Billy, listen to meet me at the creek. She loves you, she says she writes you on Facebook. I was laying here in bed and thought, ok, well I will try it. We live next to Lake Cumberland, and I’ve been going out to the lake everyday and floating in the water. It brings me peace and heals my pain. This song speaks volumes to me. Thank you for this.
