Billy never made me think of Gabor, but now that you mention it, I can see it. They both played dreadnoughts with magnetic pickups too. The works of demons channeling into HUMANS is often 'fascinating' and music, due to it's ability to invoke emotional reactions is one of satan's favorite tools, going all the way back to the temptation of the Hebrews in the dessert. Can’t believe I had the opportunity to see/listen and even converse with Billy while he was growing up in Traverse City area 👏🏽. I could see he was a fantastic musician back then but he is now at the pinnacle. All the comments about him are truly accurate and deserving. I’m thinking his parents are mighty proud…his father is an excellent blue grass musician himself 👍🤜🏼

I've known this dude for a long time and so much is said about his pickin', but let's face it, this dude has vocal chops, too. Dang.

Oh man, I swear a couple of times during that solo that he was channeling SRV. I can hardly stop listening to this band - these boys can play!

There are SO MANY similarities between the two! Different genres but equally talented. I never thought anyone could compare to Stevie, but Billy is close! Love this guy.

What a tune. I've listened to it many o' times since the album came out, possibly before. Forever a fan. They deserve everything good that comes out of their music career. Now they just need to get into Canada and tour. Thank you Billy Strings & Co. The music means a lot to me, especially this tune.

Billy plays a Thompson Brazilian Rosewood guitar he can't take that particularly loves into Canada.

I read he opted to not be a part of the experimental vaccine trials. So likely won’t be getting into Canada for a while

What an amazing musician. Truly a performer that can help pull many new people into bluegrass and its related genres. I can't imagine how Billy will be performing ten years from now. It's a true treat to see young folks get the recognition they deserve without having to jump through all the hoops of the music industry that usually are required to get visibility.

I just saw him live for the first time. I don't know who the greatest guitar player alive is, I haven't seen them all. But I know beyond a doubt the best I've heard. He's broken the sound barrier of acoustic guitar

The simple complexity is life in each moment throughout this passionate appreciation of each moment. But if you're a musician, or perhaps love one ... watch at 10:44 again and again the passing of the craft back and forth. Thank You.

Huh. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm a huge fan and had heard/seen this plenty before, just never near enough or payed enough attention at that very moment to notice that. I am not much of a bluegrass fan, but I am also ignorant of much of it. However, I love Billy Strings and one of the things I do like about the bluegrass format that he more or less adheres to in the service of many/most of his songs is that exact thing: the sharing of solos and the handoff of them, however, each usually uses a couple more bars than that. Lol.

This song is just one of those that the strings being plucked are playing on our heart strings and the lyrics being sang are the songs of our soul. This version of this song is so much different than any other. I know it's the same song but those pauses and that space between the notes strip you down and cut you wide open. For what, for you to feel for a moment.
