@@NoSleepIsland Yeah, man. On the same track as Billy Strings (humble beginnings, growing up way too fast, substance use/abuse, etc) is another Americana artist named Sierra Ferrell. Genuine as anything, distinctive as anything. She's gonna go far, I know, but she's fighting the same against the stream fight as Strings, in that they are both non-conforming to the industry standard (new country) mold. But man, you can just hear the honesty in their music. Sorry for the rant.

No, it's a bluegrass standard called Cocaine Blues that has been around for years. Many artists have done a version, old crow one is pretty good but it's not their song. Some parts of the song were taken and different backing music added to create the Johnny Cash Cocaine Blues, there's a little reference in the Cash lyrics at the end "Come on, you gotta listen unto me Lay off that whiskey and let that cocaine be"

@@andishawjfac ahh thank you. I’m not really that big into bluegrass. I thought it was an old crow original but that makes a lot of sense. I’ve heard that Johnny Cash song a million times but still failed to connect the dots.
