@@D45VR watch it fall, in my humble opinion, was the pinnacle of songwriting and musicianship thus far in this young century. Then they put us on 16 new songs merely a year or so later that rival the mindfulness of anything we’ve heard in our lives. “Forever mindful of the gift” is this generations’ equivalent of the Dead espousing the recurring theme of “I just don’t know”. It’s a vibrational minefield of questioning societal norms and hopefully turning more and more people onto kindness for the sake of kindness for no other reason than to be kind. It feels like Sisyphus pushing that Boulder these days but man I really hold hope against hope that hilarity will prevail. Otherwise, what’s the reason for this, again.

@@124Frenk TBH RMR LOVES country music. It's why his very firsts song he released was set to the tune of a Rascal Flatt's song. He wanted to subvert expectations right off the bat, show you something that you may write off as a joke without realizing how much the artist actually felt it. He got his recording contract on that alone. When he showed up to sign his contract the security tried to make him take off his mask, his rep came down and tallked them down, because nobody has seen him without that mask in pubilc. When they got into the elevator after the interaction, he started singing a negro spiritual without prompting. He's a hella interesting dude and his talent is insane. One of the most talented up and comers.
@Its_LumberJack3 жыл бұрын
Nothing wrong with people not liking it. Billy literally said let us know what you guys think, negative or positive. He sort of expressed that it was an experimental thing. Part of the reason I didn't care for it is because RMR's lyrics aren't really relevant to the song. It really seems like he wasn't involved at all, like they just have him send them some random bars and just plugged it into the song. The rest of the song is great.
