Thanks! 🤘🏻 It's a rotary effect. I got it from the strymon mobius 😉 But there are a lot of other rotary effects you can use 😊

It's so hard to be efficient and precise in the right hand in that intro! But I see you do upstrokes on the high strings and downstrokes on the low strings, that looks very economical when u do it, gonna try that! Great vid!

He uses everything from clean boost, overdrive, distortion and fuzz 😁😁 by the way, for the intro from devil in a midnight mass Ian uses the woolly mammoth by Zvex, a bass fuzz pedal 😉
