Penumbra: Overture. it didn't really have a "cross-hair" in game, so there was no way to tell where you were looking most times. hence the tape.

Yeah, what Erica said. There were puzzles where I had to hit buttons on a keyboard and I couldn't tell which button I was hitting with no dot or crosshair on the screen, so I put a piece of tape in the middle of the monitor to do the puzzles.

Unironically WOW is the most socialist mmorpg design ever, every time a new patch comes out everyone gets free gear to even the stragglers out. Every time a farmer gets good profit on farming blizzard just allows bots to kill the profitability. Every time you have something rare thats hard to achieve blizzard makes it easy or gives it away for free. Doing work towards a goal in game is pointless because you will get it later for free. Now doesnt that sound commie to you? Guildwars 2 however has extremely demanding grinds that do not get nerfed over time and every thing you do feels like it matters because its not gonna do itself.
