More great commentary Scott. I especially appreciate you pointing out which spin the shooters use and what it does when they use it on a particular shot. In addition to you being a great shooter yourself you have a great broadcasting voice and style.

Frost is hands down the best pool announcer. He seems to always have the situation properly diagnosed and makes the correct call as to what the players are going to do or should do.

Kristina, right? I may not know all the commentators’ names, but I can assure you that their observations are exactly what you need to bring out your best. Think of it as having a wise grandmother in your corner, watching over you and cheering you on-maybe even with a pom-pom or two. Ha-ha By the way, I love our commentators too! 😊

Scott, might I be so bold as to suggest that you maybe track her down and give her your tip, directly, in case she doesn't see this broadcast. Or maybe just drop it in casual conversation when the opportunity arises? If she implemented that, she would be a literal terror on the table...she pretty much is now, and I'm talking playing MALE pros. I don't know if it was her thought at the end of that game, but mine might have been, "I'll teach you to disrespect me". I had exactly the same thought before you voiced it, when he opened those balls. Yeah, if she was trying to double kiss that ball back to the golden rail, that was one HELL of a shot! Those shot outcomes of her's were brutal. You could add up the errors on about 10 of those misses, and it still wouldn't be a terrible miss. Point after point after point, sometimes BOTH of them, from high angle shots. Some nice safety work from both. This gal is DEFINITELY a very serious player. I would think she would be a good one NOT to draw in a females only tournament. It is cool to see the women doing so well against top, even pinnacle, pro male players. It doesn't look like it's going to be very long, if it is not already the case, before losing to a female at a pro level is not even cause for any sort of good natured ribbing. I don't think many pros would look at this match and then not take her seriously when she is their draw. I expect that some of these gals being married to, or girlfriends of, some of the pinnacle pros in the world, Gorst, Filler, Styer, and maybe some others I am not aware of, has brought their games up the ladders dramatically of late, and at very high rates. I am amazed when I watch some of them play now, composed, super knowledgeable, and excellent execution. It wasn't that long ago that almost none of them even knew how to pattern a table at the level they routinely do now, and for several of them, that seems to be child's play. When somebody at Scott's level is pointing out darn few deficiencies in darn few shots, that REALLY says something. I hope she listens to this broadcast, because that tip you gave her is golden, in my (at least in this case ;-) ) EXCEEDINGLY humble opinion. But I do know enough to know what I am saying there is at least likely. She looked like she had kind of half given up in that last game, like she was really, really, frustrated, and that kind of match can do that, unfortunately. They both had a few miss hits in that last game, and Billy missed quite a few banks that I really didn't expect him to miss, considering it's him shooting. He is fun to watch, but I actually enjoyed the match between her and Hall that I watched last night (out of order) more, where Justin was on fire. She didn't even have a chance there, really. Superb commentary, as ALWAYS, Scott. You and JJ are the GOATS, if that title is even by some strange definition sharable. MORE BANKS, I have really been enjoying the matches.
