Scott Frost does a great job at the solo commentary. Gotta be tough to talk to yourself for 90 minutes, but he keeps the same pace throughout.

GREAT 👍 COMENTARY

The commentary was ok, by Scott Frost, but they need two people, it works much better when there is a 2nd person in the commentary booth.

I always have enjoyed Bill Incardona, Grady and Danny. Jeremy is good too. But Scott's commentary is really good. He explains things well, keeps you into it. You don't lose track of the strategy, etc. Him and Billy are the two best.

There are some very good commentators but Scott takes a lousy game of pool; and makes it interesting every time, he is the best in my ears.

Shaw pointed at that 9 ball when he played the carom on the 7. (1:08:10) I went back and made sure. WOW

So the timer means nothing? He timed out at 26.11 and the shot after. So even if he called an extension on the first. Second shot was ball in hand.

Derby City shot clock rules are different than most others. At Derby City if a player is down on a shot after the clock runs out, there is only a time foul if the player gets back up or is stalling.

I see mistakes made quite often on the score-keeping. I don't understand that. Don't they realize that the score is... uhm... sorta important in ANY sporting event?

Patsura is not playing smart, in game 9 he should have played a safety on the 1 ball, he made it and hooked himself, then Shaw run out and made it 6-3, instead of 5-4, big mistake by Patsura that probably cost him the match. And if the 30 second shot clock is meaningless for players at this level, they should change it to a 20 second shot clock. Why have it at 30 seconds when it does nothing.

Hey Frost, in game 14 when Shaw did the billiard on the 4-7, and the 9 ball went in, it was 100% luck. He was not playing the 9 in the side in the same shot, I would bet the farm on it bro. He even smiled after it went in, like he did not know it was going.

I had to watch that shot after reading your comment. It’s amazing: almost nothing that you wrote is accurate. I never heard Scott Frost say Jayson intended to make the 9. However, I’m saying it. Before Jayson shoots, he points his cue tip on the exact spot the 4 ball hits the 9 ball. If he didn’t intend to make the 4 ball hit the 9 ball there, then that gesture is a wild coincidence. Also, at no point did I see Jayson smile or smirk immediately after making that shot.

@@anthropomorphicOrange You are clueless, go bother someone else, every word I wrote is 100% accurate. I have played for 35 years at the master level, and beat some pro players in tournaments.

@@steves2241you didn’t bother to look at it, again. Why is he pointing at the 9 ball before the shot? There’s no other logical explanation for that. You think that’s a nervous tick? I definitely don’t believe you because you lied about him smiling. He never faced the camera after the shot. Why did you make up some stupid point about him smiling when didn’t and Jeremy saying he intended to make the 9 ball when he never did. Those two statements make what you wrote not 100% accurate. I don’t think he thought it was a high probability it was going, but he knew the 4 ball was coming back in that direction.

Shaw pointed exactly through the line where the 4 would go. Look again.

@@steves2241 he definitely tried to hit it to stop the object ball. Making it was a bonus duh.
