Billy and I came from the same generation. I would have done exactly what he did. And yes, I would have been irritated by the reaction of public works as well because it represents the ambivalence of later generations. Where did we go wrong in the programming of our youth? I also love how you stay in touch with your Mom. I call mine regularly and it reminds me of how the later generations lost respect of elders.

Omg I’m laughing so hard at the whole metal water cap situation 🤣 I too would have been the honest, helpful citizen miffed at the gen-z guy 🤣 You’d think they’d be grateful right? I guarantee there are people I’ve known who would’ve used it as an offbeat knickknack. No kidding.🤷🏻‍♀️ Years ago my sister somehow acquired her very heavy, metal street sign & mounted it in her gameroom. Edited to add: Chynna, I had the same bird feeder issue UNTIL I went to the store & got a new feeder…it looks like a pretty long plastic tube & has a metal top & bottom. The shape prevents the squirrels from being able to hang on it & eat at the same time. Really works 👍

So it has been a while since I've commented, but it seemed right to do it today as battles being fought was discussed. And I have to say, I've been in a battle since the start of 2022. It has, without a doubt, been the most difficult year of my life. Especially since 2021 was the absolute best, because after waiting and hoping and praying so long for God to put me exactly where I am supposed to be to fulfill my calling,, I was suddenly in that place and with the right person. But, of course, the enemy didn't like that, so he brought a war like I've never experienced. And I lost what God blessed me with. But I believe it's only temporary. I think I'm in a situation like Job and Joseph. I believe the Lord is preparing me for what's to come when He restores everything and my purpose can be fulfilled. And I know my hopes and dreams and gifts aren't over, because if they were, the enemy would leave me alone. But he is trying so hard to make me give up which means what I'm praying for is good and powerful. So I won't stop praying and fighting and fasting ( which I'm doing now! ) because I believe God is working and I'm going to see miracles! 🙏

Pineapple on pizza is a must! That accident sounds terrifying. Back in the day, I had a blow out going nearly 100 mph 3 or 4am in the morning. The car went off the side of the road twisting and turning in the air. Glass inside the car was like a blinder as the vehicle rotated in the air-it landed on all 4 tires. The accident happened so fast. I didn’t know what happened. The 18 wheeler behind us pulled over-ran to the car thinking we had landed upside down. He was amazed to see 2 people walking out of what he witness. That was God’s mercy even tho that night I didn’t deserve it (it was a wild night and the Lord still protected us). God is good! Ya’lls version of Endless Love was good but gotta say my fav rendition of the song is by Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey

Billy needs to get his back checked following the accident. One, he said it got tweaked during the accident, and two, he had to sit down on the stair when he leaned down to pet your cat and was holding his back.. Seemingly small things can take the wind out of our sails as we get older.. So, fortify your spirit and Billy's body (by going to the doctor) as his back slipped a "Ledge". I agree with Billy! And why was it dislodged in the middle of the street. And why was that customer service guy at the DWP so rude? Maybe if his car got damaged as a result of it once he would understand that it’s rewarding to look out for strangers. The end of my rant has one more question to go- If a car got damaged because of a dislodged cap in the street, could they be sued? That all said; I love you guys & that old song sang together was so sweet.

Those sewer caps are stolen frequently, people take them to scrap yards for the money. They are expensive to reproduce and I think that guy should have been a little more grateful that someone turned it in. Where I live they had to make them illegal for scrapyards to take, although I'm sure some still do. Can't wait for your "Endless Love" duet to come out! 😃 Next CD, Chynna, Vaughn and Billy!
