I think this is honestly tied with Rodrick Rules for my favorite of the trilogy and why? Because Rodrick singing "Baby, Baby, Baby Oh!!!" with as much sincerity as possible has to be one of the best things I ever had the pleasure to experience, and although a lot of the actors have definitely aged, I think it makes sense in the context of school.

This is the last film with this cast before they came back with a new cast for the Fourth film because the main characters who played Greg and Rowley had outgrown the characters. As by the time they did the Fourth film they were like 18 years old just like me because we are the same age, and born the same year 1998

Honestly, I feel like trying to make this a movie series was one of the biggest mistakes. If they wanted to continue the franchise, I think a TV series would’ve been the better route since. Each day of Greg’s life can be like an episode that people can watch, come the following week or so.

Poodles tend to not shed just because they have hair and nor fur and most forms of doodles are the same (one breed mixed with a poodle), but honestly most dogs if you get them groomed quite often shedding will be minimal but fur in your home when you have a dog is inevitable. Eventually you won't care because you love them ❤

I forgot this was the movie when all these things happened that traumatized me for life; -The changeroom scene; Manny washing his hands in the urinal, the old naked men. -The crowded pool with disgusting things happening at every corner. -Greg losing his bathing suit after falling off the diving board and the little girl. -The whole dynamic between Greg and his dad(spag union, the camping trip, the roast beef) -Greg and Rowley(the theme park-the cranium shaker and the ice cream, and the country club with Patty and Holly) -Rodricks crush on Hollys sister and him singing "baby baby baby" -and much more.... I really like the actor that plays the dad. He cracks me up. Just fyi, dogs can be a lot of work. I have 2 and they both had pink eye recently. Wrestling 2 big dogs multiple times a day for several days, washing & disinfecting all their stuff so they don't get it again...fun lol.

My Hubby play's Airsoft combat reenactments and that's kind of like being at war. And from what he tells me. A lot of Veterans and others who have come back from actual war. Have used this to help with their PTSD and sometimes just help them to live normal lives. It gives them comfort. I have only been on the field a few times and it's exhausting but I can understand how it can used as a therapy method.

29:30 my dog is a bernadoodle meaning her mother was a Bernese mountain dog and her dad was a standard poodle. The way we like to describe it is she sheds like a human. She only really looses hair when you brush her which ya gotta do often or she’ll get matted. And when you do your left with a black tumbleweed of doggo hair. If she doesn’t get brushed then she’ll rub herself up against the couch and we’ll find the tumbleweed on the floor instead. But yeah poodle mixes typically don’t shed, there’s also many other breeds that don’t like cotton de tulears, poodles, and bishons

Honestly, don't watch the 4th film. It has terrible reviews (mostly 1s). The only character I connected to in that film was Greg as a kid on a personal level. The mother was crazy af -- it didn't have the same crazy af behaviour (positive humour and hilarious) vibes like the mum in the previous 3 films -- and extremely tyrannical with her husband. At the time, watching this back as a kid, in the back of my head, I thought this wasn't an accurate reflection of what a heterosexual couple is supposed to look like. With that in mind, shifting the focus to the husband, I said "he is not a man", hahaha. Rodrick was a peculiar character in the 4th film. He had the same attitude as the old model, but severely lacked good looks, and the actor, in the 4th film, didn't quite embrace Rodricks embodiment of the role, not in the same way compared to how it was in the previous 3 films. My favourite Diary of the Wimpy Kid film has got to be Dog Days. Personally, it was between Rodrick Rules and Dog Days, and Dogs Days hit closer to home. Happy early b-day... so I don't forget, sorry 😅not sorry 😂

i was in elementary school when these movies came out. my grandma was a school aid in my elementary school and one of her duties was to watch the kids when we watched a movie in the auditorium. sometimes i would go up to her and tell her which movie to pick based on what my classmates and i were into at the time. one day i told her to put on dowk and as she put the dvd in and it started to play, i was walking back to my seat and the entire auditorium started cheering and yelling "THANK YOUUUU" cuz they knew i told her lol. this franchise/these books made my childhood fr.

20:30 So the dog comment. what your looking for is dogs with HAIR(like human hair), instead of fur. But they also need as much maintenance as humans(brushing and/or trimming). If not, theyll get knots/mats and even regular visits to the groomer/vet is very costly now adays(food, toys and other necessitates too as someone who used to work at a pet store chain for almost 7yrs). Recent studies has shown(with vets/groomers) that "dogs that don't shed" DO shed but VERY minimally, like barely noticeable. They will mostly come out with brushing and bathing tho. Example: Poodle(all sizes), Yorkie, Shih Tzu, Afghan Hound, Maltese, Portuguese Water dog, American water spaniel, etc. But despite that some breeds(or a dogs individual personality) prefer hard work and some prefer to be "couch potatoes" There's also the other category which are the wired hair dogs. Unfortunately they shed A BIT more than dogs with hair(my experience) but no way near as much as dogs with fur. Example: Schnauzers(all sizes) Wire Fox Terrier Scottish Terrier Kerry Blue Terrier(personal fav lol), etc. Hope this helped somewhat!

Look for a white crusty dog. Many are mixed with poodle, and are therefore non shedding dogs. My dog had to be groomed a little, but he didn’t really shed.
