Hey it's awesome to hear from you! If it's just standard concrete with not a lot of stains on it usually you can use just pressurized water to clean it. If it has a bunch of automobile stains on it I would suggest using purple power to spot treat each section then power wash afterwards

I have a 4gpm 4000 psi PW. And now in the market for a surface cleaner that’s not spending 1000,s on one. Maybe a link to the one you got there . Do you have good control with plastic at high pressure?
@tocarules7 ай бұрын
I always thought the second number was thousands of an inch. Like 11003 means 110 degree spray angle with a 3 thousandth opening. Not like it matters, but you can buy the plastic tips with a stainless or even ceramic insert for a lot less than the "SS" or solid stainless or SS11003. To be honest, I'd experiment with the angle over the size of the orifice. Go with an 6004 or wider like an 8004 that will stop leaving streaks as the fan is so much wider. It would be quicker as well.
@jj-vn9hl3 жыл бұрын
does your surface cleaner psi have to exactly match your pressure washer machine psi?
@bryanhryb35984 жыл бұрын
It shouldn’t split the PSI in half if your running 4 gpm tips and have a 8 gpm your pressure will still be at 3500 PSI. If you were to use bigger tips it would lower ur pressure but you should be getting 3500 psi with the 4 gpm tips.

I would recommend using a 25030 This would allow 3 gallons per minute per spray tip. Even though you only have a 4 gallon per minute machine this would lower the psi pro tip If you are doing extremely old concrete then you could use 15030 this would increase the psi per spray tip

Would i need to change the tips on the 24" surface cleaner to 2502 × (3) = 6 gpm for soft washing on newer concrete? Again, it has 3 tips. Like you mention don't want to cause any damage. What tips would you recommend on corrugated (rock exposure) driveway and walkways? Also what type or of grease and brand would you use for the 20" surface cleaner? Is this what you mean by new concrete? I hear it can take a year to bond properly, is that true? The homeowner said it was probably just poor concrete.
@billydavidsonvip2 жыл бұрын
It does depend on a lot of factors most likely your surface cleaner did scored a new concrete. Whenever you doing new concrete you need to double the original size of your surface cleaner tips. Overtime the scorn marks should start to blend in and not be so visible. Usually this takes about two months

@@billydavidsonvip Shouldn't there be a rubber seal? The little ball only pushes in a short ways. My other machines have a standard nipple. I will probably just take it apart since there's not much to it and re-grease it. In one video they took it apart and the bearings had plastic covers still on them so grease could never get to them anyway. Might be better to take a look. Just bought this small one to use on top of brick walls and try it on wooden fences. It's so light it takes off from the ground with any amount of pressure Lol. I've used this sprayer several times now on brick pavers, a wood deck, patio, and a driveway. kzbin.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX It has performed as expected on all surfaces. For larger areas like the decks and patios, I think I will be looking into a surface cleaner attachment to speed up the job, or at least make it a little easier. Hose and sprayer connections are tool-less, tight, and quick. I used the yellow nozzle on the concrete/brick surfaces, and the pressure was adequate for cleaning those surfaces.I am disappointed that these units are still being shipped with a nozzle storage holder that allows them to vibrate out of the holder way too easily and become lost, but I don't want to knock off a star for that reason. The functional part of the washer works very well, so I would recommend this product.

Hi Billy, quick question: I've been looking at these cleaners and the majority of them top up at 4000psi with the GPM varying up and down depending on the model. I have a 4400 PSI 4 GPM pressure washer and it's hard to find a cleaner that passes that 4000psi max pressure mark. Any modifications I could make to use one of these at 4400 PSI and 4 GPM ? Thanks.
@billydavidsonvip2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can still use a surface cleaner that is rated for 4000 PSI when the PSI is calculated and rated for your specific machine it is measured at the pump under optimal conditions. Such as 60 pounds per square inch of water pressure going into the inlet side of the pump "which is uncommon on most facets" in addition they measure the outgoing psi directly at the pump without any pressure hose. That being said if you hook to a standard garden hose that is 100 feet long to feed your pressure washer you're not going to receive 60 psi on the inlet side that will reduce your psi by at least 200 psi. They get you down to about 4200 psi on the outlet side. Now let's remember the psi is measured at the pump with no pressure hose and that's how the manufacture comes up with this number. Once you put on a 50 feet or a 100 foot pressure hose and a wand then the psi is reduced even more! 100 feet of pressure hose reduces the pressure by approximately 300 psi in addition the water Hass to make to make a 90° turn to go through the wand. This again reduces the pressure by another 150 psi anytime this water hast to make a 90° turn. Therefore lowering your realistic pressure to probably just over 3700 psi which is well within the range of a 4000 PSI rated surface cleaner. I apologize for this long message in any typos but if you need any other help just let me know
