Brother Billy it's been to long some good old beach fishing for DABS and there friends. What a great day for fishing. That was a big weaver in all the years i have fished i did not know you could eat them but saying that never caught one over 5 inches long and even the seagulls won't eat them. Thank you for the great content! Some freshwater here in the northeast of the US. There is a lot of private property here.... and no 'free to roam' law in place... so stream access is a bit limited at times. However, stocked fish from the local private clubs make their way around to more public areas, and so 2 made it my iron skillet. Properly heated with a little margarine, it demonstrated 'non stick' without the 'forever coatings'.

I switched onto the old ABU rods last year. Suveran Specimen and Premier. Sometimes old is best. I found the newer rods tended to be bananas is comparison in a tide.

@andrewwhyte8551 hi bud had a look, you have some nice water over there. The species I know will definitely be there are flounder, codling, dabs. Rockling. The fish that might be there seasonally are plaice, sea bass, thornback Ray, dogs. The sandy beaches to the North of Peterhead will produce the flatfish and the sea bass and possibly the rays. If you would like to target the ray, it's best to fish from the rocks or the local pears into deeper water. Hope this is some help you 👍
