Hyperlapses are is probably 90% of the reason why I still fly GPS drones. Good information here Billy and I shared with local NYC guys like Anthony who can benefit from this.

Btw there is a way to do tracking stabilization in Final Cut Pro. Set the scale of the clip to -100%, add a tracker, copy the clip above itself, and apply that tracker to the new clip in the transform menu. Then just scale and position it so it fills the frame. AE makes it easier but it’s still faster to just stay in Final Cut Pro.

These Hyperlapses are amazing, I need to do more of them. And when I do. I will use these videos as more tutorial. Thanks for sharing.

Lots of good tips and tricks here. I really need to make the leap and start using filters to slow down shutter. Love that blur on the cars.

These are amazing! I am curious - did you have to get OOP waivers for all of the traversing you did over people in moving vehicles? How did you navigate that?

Hey Billy quick tip, you can go past 3 in stabilization if you grab the arrows that appear when you highlight the number by the slider you can then slide the number above 3! Hope this helps!

Since my iMac is outdated and I haven’t updated to a new machine yet, I’ve been editing solely on an iPad Pro. I use Lightroom Mobile to edit my RAW photos and batch edit them then bring them into my video editing app and stabilize the file. I haven’t found that sweet spot yet with getting my hyperlapse super smooth but I do have access to premiere pro on my work computer so I will try using that to stabilize my next hyperlapse video. Flying on a day with little to no wind is real key.

I use Lumafusion on M1 iPad Pro and it works great for hyperlapse stabilization. Not nearly as expensive as other editing software.
@cre8tivity069 ай бұрын
@@evanc8919 that is exactly what I use on my iPad Pro. For me it does okay but I want mine to be smoother. Do you use the default stabilization settings or do you make adjustments to them?

Thanks for this! Yet another top tier Hyperlapse editing video! You didn't mention it here but with Premier Pro do you still import and export the clip several times to smooth it out? Cheers! 🍻

Davinci Resolve has a pretty good effect for de-flickering the sky that I can notice in some of your shots btw. I think you need the paid version though, I could be wrong.

@billyKyle You mentioned using a ND filter for shots with trails, what density filter where you using?

Thanks BK. I’m flying the DJI M3PC in ProRes 4K with the ND1000 and the slowest shutter speed I can even select is 1/15. Am I missing something? Billy mentioned taking shots at much slower (1/2 sec to 1 sec) shutter speeds. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks Billy for the info too!

Great video till you cropped them to vertical? @kenheron would be disappointed? I have an old Phantom 3 with a bit of gimbal wobble don’t suppose there is a way to remove the ‘jelly’ effect from those videos?

Are you using the Freewell ND1000 Filter for the Mavic 3 Pro or another one? Is that the only 10 stop Mavic 3 Pro on the market?

QQ.. The file you add into Adobe After Effects, is that the one straight off the drone, of one that was previously process in Premier after Warp Analyzer..?
