I've been watching your videos and tutorials when I had started to fly my Mavic2 Pro & Zoom(March.2019). It has been a lot of help and gave me a lot of inspiration. This video is also one of the best what you posted. First time to write here on your channel, but much Appreciated, and nice work, Billy! (from S.Korea)

I do enjoy your videos. On the lighter side: In essence (after getting the right settings for image capture) you pretty much just fool around with the lighroom sliders from top to bottom (reason they're organized in that order) until it looks good..... I'm sold! I've watched numerous videos comparing different image processing tools and how they're used. No doubt "capturing the shot" with the right settings/format is the most important/tricky & challenging part.... (Unless you're actually modifying/replacing & masking unwanted objects etc!)

Billy, this is very helpful. I've been using Lightroom for about three years and I've gotten into a bit of a rut. Also, I think just shooting photos from the air is a great idea. Thanks for this helpful video.

I started out taking almost all the photo's with my Phantom 4, with just occasional video clip. And eventually moved to taking more video until it became 50/50. I alway shot RAW on my DSLR's so I always did the same on my Drones. I also use RAW plus JPEG settings, sometimes the JPEG comes out perfect. And I also use AEB almost 100% of time, another carryover from my DSLR beginnings. Besides almost always getting the right exposure, it also allows you to create a good HDR image. Thanks for taking us inside your workflow, and this a great reminder for Drone Pilots to take more pictures.

Fantastic video Billy, you should have added the use of ND filters for photography as well to remove glare from reflective objects such as cars and windows.

Very similar to my workflow and it sells a lot of pictures. I tend to spend about an hour grading each picture but my thinking seems similar to yours on how it is done. Mavic 2 Pro is fine but I hope that the 3 has a larger sensor or optical zoom.

Those are some great tips Billy. I only fly for fun as a hobby and hardly shoot any photos. I'm guessing this may not be as good but what I do is freeze a frame while watching the video and then just do a screen capture. Then bring it into Photoshop to enhance it if necessary. I have taken some Evo drone photos then compared it using the screen capture and really couldn't tell the difference. I'm sure a person really interested in photography would do better using your advice. Thanks for all the great tips.

Billy, you should be merging those 5 brackets into one high dynamic range image in post editing process instead of starting with the best one as you mentioned. Not good advice but a fail-safe you said.? You do this because you will get the most dynamic range out of those 5 images after merging into one. This gives you more flexibility in editing to bring out the best in that image.

Just to clarify it looks like when you’re shooting in auto exposure bracket the camera is in full auto mode as you do not need to worry about exposure because of the five different shots you have? Are you using any ND filters? Interesting that does make it easy

It will snap 3-5 images, so there will be slight movement between frames with say cars driving
