Jeven, hi man, will you be able to point me to a place where i get my Mavic Air 1 drone fixed? I mean my issues is that my drone does not turn on sometimes , it is as if it is hanging in the boot up process...propellers turn , and gimbal moves but i dont hear that read sound being played, very annoying.... sometimes it does complete the power on / boot up cycle BUT then i also struggle to link the remote and the drone. All of this was after a safety update i did for the fly-zones. Its just strange because sometimes i am able to fly and it works fine. Sadly the last 2 weeks i have tried and tried and the drone will not turn on fully, no idea what is going on. I have crashed the drone in gate , but this was more than a year ago and i have flown the drone at many places thereafter so it is very very strange. Hope you can help me, thanks

This is a great tutorial, thanks man! I’ll be ordering an Air 2 very soon. I was waiting to pull the trigger once any bugs had been worked out and I was having a hard time justifying it over the Mavic Mini, but it seems to be worth the extra $$.

That was awesome! I'm full into photography and a total newbie in video. My Mavic Air 2 is on its way to me. My primary goal was only to capture real estate or next day wedding shots, but since having all these capabilities I thought I should learn how to capture and edit some small clips, but I'm too afraid of the learning curve. This video helped me a lot, both into capturing and editing (image processing knowledge helps A LOT, by what I saw from you). Thanks!

Your challenge with shooting at 60fps is that you'll lose the nice motion blur of 25fps (or lower) which you can recreate in post but it really isn't the same. Regardless, thanks for the video, it's nice for the community to see such tutorials, they're really appreciated!
@ScrapyardFilms4 жыл бұрын
ReelSmart Motion Blur does a great job of adding it back to look natural. I use it quite often
@RaduBogdan2k4 жыл бұрын
you could use the 1/60 shutter speed with the thought in mind that most of that footage will be used in a 30fps timeline, so you'll be dropping every other frame. This means indeed you'll get a bit too much blur when you do slow down the footage, but maybe that's a better option.

Admit I am a raw rookie at this...............but I tried your advice and set my Mavic Air 2 to 4K 60fps D-Cine, shot some footage, then tried to import into DaVinci Resolve..............I have DaVinci set for 60fps project frame rate, but when I try to import the clip it says the clip rate does not match the project, so I tell it to change because the only other choice is to cancel, and then when I play the footage it is jumpy at best. Gotta be a disconnect somewhere...............most likely between my ears! Enjoyed the video, but not sure I'll ever get there from here..............except for your flying tips, those were extremely........extremely helpful!
@JevenDovey2 жыл бұрын
Not sure what the issue is. I don’t use daVinci resolve so I can’t help you with that software. Sounds like it should work 🤷🏻♂️
@billmeador2152 жыл бұрын
Ok, thanks.....................agree it should work, but does not...........if I record in 24fps daVinci will handle just fine, but 60fps just will not play back at any speed, jumps from one frame set to another, freezes, then jumps again, no real video at all. Checked the web and seems daVinci has issues for a lot of those who use DJI drones at 60fps. Will keep working with it and see what Black Magic has to say about the issue, probably come down to a setting I haven't found yet. Keep Dronein!

If you want 24 you shoot 24 not 60. There is no adjusting in post to make it more "cinematic" Wolfcraft did an excellent video on this. I think the word cinematic is being abused as much as dynamic range these days. cinematic is as stated about the shot but even more about the lighting and ND filters to get that "correct" shutter.
