I kept seeing things on FB about Billy but hadn't gotten around to actually listening til I had free time because of the pandemic! One listen and I was hooked. I'll have to say it was the ray of sunshine I needed during this stressful time. A real angel! And the band too! They are my heroes!

Back in the day, at Tipitina's, if you made friends withe the staff, they had a bowl of liquid acid behind the bar and would let you dip your finger tip in and stick it in your mouth. I don't really remember much after that.

I doubt I can say anything that hasn't already been said about Billy and his band. What talent! The way Billy stepped back and pushed Cedric Burnside into the spotlight, watching Cedric play and "adding to" Cedric's lead... to make Cedric, stand out, if you will. Says volumes about Billy's character. Mainstream media (alphabet news, fbook, twit etc.) Are who should be de-funded for continuing to push the racial hate/divide narrative.

He has the Strings in his Surname, no Wonder he is sooooo good 😀🤔
@darrendix51634 жыл бұрын
That sounds like sarcasm! I like it. (Names band after self, names self after the very strings them selves) = (Not as good as you think you are). The most important thing to me is the humble persona of the artist. The egotistical gimmicks kill it for me outright. Every time I give Mr. Strings a chance, I regret that my you-tube algorithm is so rigged to bombard me with MORE Billy Strings. Boring, and no real personality. Technically decent music, yes, but there 's many long lists of other music I'd rather listen to. I'd rather just listen to Doc and Merle unless someone is going to actually out-do them! (NOT!). Want the REAL humble? Mississippi John Hurt. Never gonna even come close.

@AnalogSignalPath4 жыл бұрын
If I had to guess, it's two cables in a sleeve. One for the banjo top and probably another for the bridge? Then, his signal looks to be going to the Bandmaster to put the smiles on the faces in the front row and the rest out front via DI? The Bandmaster can be and is probably for Billy's signal. Or, it could be the wet signal for both? So many options!
