People got to start recognizing the whole band and just not billy.. I get it he is the main attraction but the band makes it come full circle... agree ?

The band is great, but the band wouldn't be the band without Billy. Billy already had established himself to some degree prior to this band and it is named after his stage name. And id venture to guess failing, royal, and Jarrod would agree

These guys have been playin together for quite some time now. Ive seen them live twice in small venues. The last time with Lindsy Lou and her band they all live and play together in Nashville and believe me they are ALL amazing artists! Both bands got on stage and played everything from bluegrass to Zepplin to Black Sabbath. You should see what goes on when these guys grab electric instruments..... frickin mind blowing!!!

Jason Richards I’d only really listened The Dead South and then I stumbled across Billy Strings on the sofa and was totally blown away. There seems to be a reassurance of Blue Grass and especially amongst the younger people. Just shows that real music will never die . This style of music came about with the early settlers in the U.S hundreds of years ago with influences from English, Scottish and Irish folk music.

KZbin needs to get rid of the thumbs down button!!! If you cant say something nice, don’t say anything at all. I watch these badass musicians doing their thing and wonder-how could 21 haters think it was ok to hit thumbs down on this? Billy Strings you are a badass! Your fellow musicians too!

Flatt & Scruggs and the Foggy Mountain Boys used one mic and moved the same way as this. I still think it results in the best "mix", because they have to get it right for it to come close to working. These guys are the real deal, and I am so happy they came along to preserve real bluegrass

Right out of the gate these guys burn it up. Blue grass and traditional music is finally coming round full circle. AKUS opened the door again for the un-initiated like myself to the spirit of wood and steel back in the 90"s and bands like these are carrying the torch. I believe it is very similar to the blues revival in the 70"s and 80"s. Now if only jazz would make such a comeback, what a beautiful world this would be!

Everywhere’s the same Strikes a chord with me because in the Covid lockdown of 2019 and 2020 I struck out on the road and traveled all over the country and I hoped my experience would be different in various towns but everything is the same everywhere. But there is a joy in that. Our forefathers sacrificed much for this luxury.
