Excellent video guys. Nice to see two peoples opinions on a review whilst having a little bit of fun. Keep the honest reviews coming.

Cheers buddy. Its more fun with 2 people as you get a different oppinion. It also allows me to be more creative with the video shots etc.

Very good video. Nice to see the BH range being put to use. Look forward to seeing this down the line and see how the products perform.

Great video review guys. Really looking forward to you revisiting some past products in the future.

Thank you. Yes we have a diary where we will return to products periodically after application. We feel this is better for real world testing. Chemical resistance checks do add value but not real exposure testing to all the elements.

Great video,, i recently tried Bilthamber wheel cleaner, the stuff is amazing.

Auto-wheels is a superb product. Not many products even come close as a wheel cleaner. Thanks for watching.

Nice to see someone who uses panel wipe correctly by using a second towel to remove the contamination (oils etc) see so many spraying on panel prep & just smearing it around the substrate.

Thanks John. We tell everybody when removing anything to use multiple cloths. Case in point is watching people cleaning windows just using 1 cloth. First cloth is to spread the product, 2nd and 3rd to migrate the dirt into the cloths and remove from the surface. Cheers for watching and leaving a comment.

Excellent video guys, be interesting to see how it stacks up against double speed. If its too close to call maybe a 50:50 in each and see how it goes... that TT needs some love?

Cheers buddy. We were going to do a head to head with DSW but decided on a dedicated Hydra review. Half way through however we thought we should have gone head to head lol. We can always revisit.

Looking forward to your updates on this one. How many Golf sized applications do you think you'd get from a bottle? Thanks guys
@thecarboutique246711 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. A good question. Looking at the amount we used on the car, and how far each loaded applicator went before we had to add more to the pad I would hazard a guess at circa 20 cars. You really don't use a lot as the product is wet and spreads well. Further, as shown on the video, you really are, like most waxes, looking to apply the thinnest coat.

Great video can ask a question I have a new Vw Tiguan would you put b h double speed wax on the car or have a ceramic coating put on the car thanks mike
@thecarboutique246711 ай бұрын
If your looking for the best protection I would defo recommend a ceramic coating. On a new car it is the way forward.

Excellent explanatory video . I have to say that is a beautiful example of the golf in white 😍I always go for black myself ..I have deep black pearl 2024 Tiguan R line . It's beautiful but a nightmare to clean and keep clean ,there's a lot of swirl marks on it mainly from picking it up from dealers and the monkeys in the back washing it and damaging the top coat when I clearly told them no wash ..I have to admit tho I have rushed a few washes and swirled the paino black pillars ..have you any tips for the piano black please 🙏looks crap when sun hits it ..I think my next vw will be Tiguan again but in the nardo grey colour ,I've just bought the touchless and touch on ..I was expecting better tbh from bilt hammer

Hiya buddy and thanks for watching. Regarding piano trim, I tend to go down the machine polish route as using any LSP doesn't really work. I get a 3 in pad, medium compound with a soft pad and gently work the trim. Usually comes up amazing. I then apply a ceramic to offer it a little abrasion protection. Cheers.

@@thecarboutique2467 thank you for this info 🙏 I was about to purchase a nano polisher to target the pillars but TBF I have no clue what brand or type to buy have you any tips ?Somone mentioned using a drill on soft setting 🤔 Thank you
@thecarboutique24672 ай бұрын
Hiya buddy. Most nano polishers will do but I am currently using the Flex PXE 80. In2Detailing do a great nano polisher if you reside in the UK.

I've been a fan of BH since I first started down the detailing rabbit hole so thanks for this review, great as always. I'm not sure the wheels warranted AW, as you're reviewing the range I understand why, but you could have gone Surfex and maybe Korrosol if needed. Same with the pre-wash, I usually go snow (AF or Touch-Less) first then HD if needed.
@thecarboutique246711 ай бұрын
Hiya buddy and thanks for watching. Normally a car of this age would, like you say, have probably been ok with just Surfex and potentially a spritz of Korrosol. I used Auto-Wheel just to give Karl exposure to the product as I do believe it is 1 of the best wheel cleaners on the market. Overkill but a good opportunity to introduce somebody to the product. Thanks buddy
