we added an inch to the seatpost for long barrell stroker motors, than kept the top line straight by adding to the front rails ( best to replace front rails all the way to the seatpost ), motor mount aways hand formed...sporster style kick stand mount and moving master cylinder to the rear, shaving those tabs off motor mount keeps front rails clean..... 6"-8" over front end keeps frame level for best motor performance

Great work, do you take original frames and bring them back as stock as possible. The opposite of what you are doing here?

Great job on the frame ,,,what are your impressions of the jig kit,,is it value for money ?
@houseofchoppers4 жыл бұрын
Yah I think so! I have $1000 dollars into it with material and everything and seems good to go! Sat there for a full day and made sure it held perfectly straight and true and it did! I did make different fixturing pieces to hold down the frame rails and whatnot but it seems good to go!

I didn’t know you could use chromoly with those castings. That’s cool to know. What filler rod/welding technique are you using?
@houseofchoppers10 ай бұрын
Yup you can Ive always used 70rs-2 for frame stuff. If I didn't do a such a crazy pore heat and cool down I may go with a different rod choice though. Thanks for watching!

Your gas reserve idea is very trick. How did it work out in the end after road testing it for year
@houseofchoppers4 жыл бұрын
Haven't road tested it, put the whole bike on hold to finish other stuff. Biltwell didn't want to put me in the build off so ill hop back on it when I get some extra time!

Those reproduction frames have no higher purpose than to sit there and get cut up.
@houseofchoppers3 жыл бұрын
There not that bad, seen some tweaked one out of the box but im sure as hell not cutting up my Og frames anymore so these are a good start
