. I was in the area a couple of weeks ago running Blackpool to Lancaster and the route took me through Pilling, the trail to the recreation area/car park and along the river to Lancaster castle. Lovely to watch. 😊

Great video once again! Used to walk under the Carlisle Bridge every day to get to school, our school marathon had us running over it and down the canal!

"Ah, another Bimblism video," I thought. "let's make a cup of tea and settle down for half an hour of quality KZbinry with Kieran." All went well until 15:24 when I choked, spat tea onto my keyboard and had some of it dribble through my nose. Thanks for that! Cheers 👍🏼

Very interesting videos you are making. Glad I came across your channel. Working my way through back catalogue. Have you any about how you plan your route and if you use an app for your navigation. Surprised I have not come across many of you camping. I’ve enjoyed them also. You must come across many opportunities to wild camp. Thanks for sharing happy bimbiling

Yet another cracking video Keiran. Full of interest and discovery, some wonderful churches. You covered quite a few miles in this one! Desert eagle still going I see, British Eagle fixed yet? Anyway, quality stuff as always, good luck for the next one.
@BimblismUK2 жыл бұрын
Funny you should say. But Desert Eagle is no more. There was an incident on the way back to Lancaster. Theres a new facebook marketplace 90's mountain bike in the ranks now. Saracen! :)

Was born around that area. Hambletonish. All sketchy as i was adopted near enough straight away. Been once about 25 years ago from your bimble looks a nice place. Love the detailed research you do about these places each time it fascinates me. What do you do for a living? I would definately have listened in History if you were a teacher.

Very interesting Kieran, who'd have thought that English lime would be so different to French lime :)
@BimblismUK2 жыл бұрын
Cheers Alex. Who knew lime was different. :)

I have fallen foul of lime difference before believe it or not!!!! I worked on an eco building at Norton Priory in Runcorn. We used straw bales and built up the layers of lime on the outside. I think Norton Priory would make a good bimble for you. You could go down the Sankey Canal path from Sankey Bridges (Mersey White Lead Company) then cut through and over the Gatewarth tip bridge etc, you can see where the path goes on the map. You end up in Moore Village then on the path by the expressway - the cycle path takes you straight to the car park. They have a really interesting statue of St Christopher there too (amongst many other things) 🙂

"All reet Cock". Tearm of endearment from St .Helens. You get a funny look if you say that in other parts of Britain. Anyway love the history lesson. Isn't it funny hated history at school, but love your narration. As always peace ,love and keep bimbling few quid on way as per..

Sunday on my ride, stopped to talk to another chap on a bike, I started telling him about the little lanes i go down and how I find them by looking on maps for churches and bridges i have never been to before. I think he thinks i should be on medication? perhaps he is right?
