Great stuff as always Kieron. I've commented on your Warrington vids previously. I do remember the electrical box on Winwick street but I now live in Deganwy, Llandudno and can't say I've noticed them in the town - I'll look a little harder. The bridge is another part of my childhood, having lived on Gainsborough Road. It was known as 12 arches bridge and not only did the Mersey run under it but also the remnants of the Runcorn / Latchford canal (which was filled in at the bridge along with the arch it passed under in the '80s I believe). The only remaining water filled part of the canal is what you ride alongside in your vid to the bridge with the Mersey on your other side. Also to note in the vid at 11:06 the sandstone abutment at 90° to the bridge was the support for a metal railway bridge alongside 12 arches that I believe carried the original lines that eventually ran on the other viaduct and then Acton Grange when the ship canal was completed. Maybe someone can confirm this. Sorry if thats a bit long winded... keep bimbling...

Hi Kieran. I think you're right. When you look at his famous bridge over the Irwell on the Liverpool to Manchester, they're very similar designs. The buttresses on this one are a bit beefier but maybe the flow was more substantial here or something?

I used to always cross over that wooden bridge near to Thames board, sometimes just sitting there enjoying the freight trains that went past. One of my favourite paths for a walk or a ride was from the pink eye through crosfields works to the bone field then to arpley meadows then back over that bridge, I know that you have covered this treasure yourself.

As far as I know the tram lines are still there, under the tarmac! My grandad started on the trams, later a bus driver all his working life.

Wow, I've just stumbled across your content as I was searching for cycling ideas in Warrington and was absolutely blown away by your knowledge of the landmarks that are in my home town that have passed me by. As you said earlier in your commentary "hidden in plain sight". Riveting viewing. Well done Sir. A new subscriber.

Bimble Way hiden history Verse 1: There's a path tucked away, hidden from plain sight A journey of secrets, waiting to come to light It's the Bimble Way, a forgotten trail Where history whispers, and stories prevail Chorus: Oh, the Bimble Way, it holds a mystery A tale of the past, waiting to be set free Through the winding roads and the fields of green Lies the hidden history, waiting to be seen Verse 2: As I cycle along, I can feel the magic in the air The ghosts of the past, they seem to be everywhere They're calling out to me, to unravel their tale Of love and loss, and the secrets they entail Chorus: Oh, the Bimble Way, it holds a mystery A tale of the past, waiting to be set free Through the winding roads and the fields of green Lies the hidden history, waiting to be seen Bridge: The stones may crumble, and the memories may fade But the Bimble Way, it will always remain A connection to our past, a reminder of our roots A treasure trove of stories, waiting to be pursued Chorus: Oh, the Bimble Way, it holds a mystery A tale of the past, waiting to be set free Through the winding roads and the fields of green Lies the hidden history, waiting to be seen Outro: So let's keep cycling, down the Bimble Way And uncover the secrets, of yesterday For the hidden history, is ours to discover On the Bimble Way, where stories never falter.

I live a stones throw away from the Sankey Viaduct. I have my allegiances. The information about straightening cucumbers serves as a reminder that even the gifted have their, let’s say, foibles. I’ll stick to the marvellous engineering.

Ive subscribed. your video came up in my recommendations and I didnt know what to expect but I really enjoyed this. Ive seen a lucy box in Stockport. I love your smooth Hyperlapse sections, guess you have done those on a bike. Also loved the "she loves the rain" song, shazamed it only to find its on your channel, is that you singing? Love the content. Need to watch your back catalogue of stuff now. Cheers Andy
