Drift versus Grip! Best of both worlds get put to the test completely out of their box. Nima brought out his Latvian-built 2014 F22 BMW 2 Series HGK Eurofighter formally piloted in the Formula Drift circuit by Yves Myer. Professional Drift cars are pretty wild these days, so it's stacked up with a 800 horsepower Chevy 427ci LS7 V8. Matt brought his $500 grandma-spec 1994 BMW 318is, stacked with big slicks, a Chevy LS2 V8 engine and insane amount of adjustable aero to adapt to any situation. Who’s gonna get the W in their BMW?

I'm really suprised by how slow that sequential shifts, you can see the car drop behind more and more with every shift. I figured that TA car would take it based on traction but I didn't think it would be the transmission that let down the FD car. I'm wondering if he needed to lift on shifts and roll it back in as to not break traction.

jeah was also looking for the little m42/44 fella but building those to 600HP is very pricy! got a mate who build his 318is Avus Coupe into a roughly 400HP Turbo car, the Engine Alone was more than 10k

@@patriklenck1735 We had a 500whp m44 i think here in the balkans, it was eating gearbox after gearbox :D Edit: i think a proper stroke and lowering comp ratio as much as possible, to slap that big ol turbski in, then you keep it on limiter to keep that thing spooled and pray you dont get a hole in your block. That sums it up for m44 :D
