You really squeezed the brass in at the last minute, I was getting worried 😂 I might make one of these for the kitchen, but with one of those push to open catches so I don't have to faff about with the bin lid!

Badger Workshop a mere moment in time. Took me 11 years to get around to fixing the sliding cupboard door in the back bedroom and only 15 mins to actually do it. Best not to rush up on these matters I find. The Mrs, she had a different take on the affair.

I put mine on a little wheeled MDF platform because I had some cheap castors I'd never used and the inevitable bit of scrap 18 mm MDF lying about. I like to keep bits off the floor for H&S as well as tidiness. Nice rich brown finish, that hard wax oil looks good on that softwood.

Great bin and good use of all the small strips. Thanks for sharing. Maybe you can make the bin more "sophisticated". Provide it with a remote control (or even better with a kind of speech command opening system) "Open the bin" and you can through whatever you want into the bin from anywhere in the shop.
