Nice coverage.... yes our Media is on the hands of Social media, which focuses only on sensational news than facts. The two VBs almost eliminated alll day-time Omni-buses from Road. NCJ to Kilambakkam SETC is taking around 13-14 hours, compared to that 8hrs 45mins to MS is unbelievable run. Interms of tickets, mostly 200-250 passengers are boarding this train from NCJ, TEN, MDU and TPJ. The traffic pattern for this train is .... all passengers are traveling towards TBM or MS. The intermittent usage like NCJ-MDU, TEN-TPJ is very low. Hope TEN-MS-TEN VB gets 16 coaches soon, as it is very difficult to get tickets in that train. Glad to note, KL gets the first ever 20 coach VB in SR. Hope the released 16 car coach can be used for ERS-BNC VB.

Excellent video and I was in Vande Bharat Express yesterday to drop my parents for function in Madurai and this train is excellent 👌 seating is fabulous and the only drawback is carrying heavy luggage overall splendid train will travel at some point

Comprehension and interesting. Installation of alarm system like one in Vande Bharath Exp should be done in all trains as early as possible. This will prevent mis-use of alarm system by anti-social elements particularly in Northern States.

It's a hight time now that railway need to fence and upgrade tracks. Upgrade signaling system and other infrastructures to support train speed of 160-180. Vande Bharat is capable of running with speed of 160 kmph easily...

Those 50 seats would be full during final chart. I have never managed to get ticket at the last minute in this train. It needs to be upgraded to 20 cars asap.

@@Platform7byBinaiSankar This section is a bottomless pit as far as demand goes bcoz of Tirunelveli, Madurai, Dindigul and Trichy. We should also come out of this mindset that a train should always be full. Supply should run ahead of demand atleast at the premium end of the market in public transport. There should always be seats available for last minute travellers which means some seats maybe empty sometimes. This is why a lot of demand is now met by omni buses which are growing exponentially. This should be a 20 car rake and this 16 car rake should be used to replace the 8 car Tirunelveli VB. If they run at only 80% occupancy during weekdays and 100% occupancy during weekends, that is fine. Eventually those seats would also get filled given time. Thats what happened to Coimbatore VB which was initially only full on weekends. Nowadays, it is full everyday. That needs to be converted to 16 car asap.

@@Platform7byBinaiSankarIdk what data points were used to come to that conclusion but sure, I am fine with upgrading the TEN VB to 20 coach and this to run with the present consist. There is ample demand in this section for 36 cars of VB class per day per direction. Trains are being stopped to allow these VB overtakes. Might as well not waste it for 8 cars in this busy section.

In a section that has MPS of 110, the train cannot operate at 112. And generally in sections with 110kmph mps, the train actually operates only at 107-108. So that displayed speed is correct.

Irrespective of what the TTE asks, the passenger is required to carry the ticket in digital form (SMS/EMAIL/PDF) and Govt approved ID proof in original.

If this VB can comfortably cover 2*720+ KMs in a day with a 110 KMPH limit, then a VB can easily cover MAS--ERS distance too which is less than the distance to NCJ, with a 130 KMPH limit. Perhaps SR can elongate the MAS--CBE VB to 16 coaches and extend it to ERS or ERN. Or a new 8 coach VB with stops in ERN/ERS, AWY or AFK, TCR, WKI, PGT, PTJ, ED or SA, KPD and on to MAS. Will be helpful to have a fast day train.

Total distance= 723 km , traveling time= 8hr 50 min.... Average speed 723/8.50= 85kmph as per railway records... Railway should improve the average speed upto 110,130,160 kmph.. reduce the running time between stations will help the average speed.. maintain average speed for vandebarat express 130kmph.. increase the track speed, and reduce the time between stations..

An amazing train with tight tt for sure and deserves 20 C. Railway board should consider VBs like MAQ-TVC, TEN-MS, KCG-YPR rather than upgrading all VBs in the north with 16C/20C as they announced few days back. But finally TVC-KGQ is getting 20 C from this month!

MAQ-TVC definitely needs a 16 car or 20 car VB. It's full almost all the time. You have to book it 2-3 weeks before your trip inorder to travel in it.

Not necessary. Passengers can go to Nagercoil and board the train. Trains can be successful without coming to Trivandrum.

Trivandrum railway division focuses on kerela part only and ignores nagercoil and kanyakumari.... i scencierly feel if Trivandrum division does justice with tamilnadu part... south tamil nadu will have good connectivity. Trivandrum division could develop nagercoil town and nagercoil junction station just like it develops railway station in and around Trivandrum!

IR has a peak/off-peak pricing for AC coaches. Although you don't see a dynamic price upfront, the fare is still dynamic.

Well 727 kms in 8 hoursfor a train like vandhe Bharat , average is pathetic at 85 kms per hour , if at 120 or 125 kms, speed in 6 hours is ok. , 8 hours is too slow for a vandhe Bharat.
