What a waste of public money. The complete infrastructure and the train do not create any revenue to the railways. Some political interest created this waste. Shame that the railways undertake such worthless projects while many (could be) profitable routes are ignored.... This is not inefficiency on the part of the railways but full corruption.

Enjoyed this ICF -oru second class yathra. Actually this train is a sprinter which has lot of stops and running in about 7 hours. Lot of inter-state passengers can commute in a cheaper way in this day express comparing to ST buses.

Other than Manali in Himachal Pradesh, this village station there is another Manali suburban North Madras industrial estate where big industries located like MFL, CPCL(MRL) served by Tiruvotriyur R S. And Ennore R.S.

Madras is the Detroit of India. Leyland their rival Bharat Benz, Hyundai, Mahindra, Ex-Ford, Nissan etc have their units. I think Tata and Eicher is missing.

Phone camera visuals are far better than that of action camera.

59:50, the line coming in from Tenkasi, Sivakasi js the one used by 16102, QLN-MS mail, am I right? And I have watched ur video on that line too, from I think the 16327? MDU-GUV exp.

OMG. The crowd in Tirupur.... I think lot of unreserved ticket holders are these people. How do these much get into the general coach . Obviously sleeper coaches will be occupied by these pax. Railway should restrict or make arrangements to these passengers.

Nice travel. 2nd class travel to Madras in Winter is OK. In summer this would have been a frying pan! All along the coast with 65% humidity at 38 C!! The Penna River passing through Nellore is called Vada-Penn-aar - in Tamil. There is another Then-Penn-aar south of Chengalpat. An interesting trivia--the Vadapennaar's name in classical Telugu is "Pinakini". That is how this train was named. Used to be a much faster train 30 years back. Stops got added periodically reducing it to just another "maamool" express. Due to the heavy traffic, there is a project of triple-lining the BZA--GDR section. Not yet completed yet. It has been going on for a few years now. They did not think the 3rd line was needed between GDR and MAS. There are supposed to be 4 lines between Korukkupet and Athipattu stations. Did you see them? Though Aarambaakkam is a station in TN, the train then goes into AP again :-) and then comes back into TN at Elavur. So, the name board of Elavur is written in Tamil & Telugu.
