I'm really afraid of dogs, when I was a child many dogs attacked me and since then I can't be close to them, I've tried to overcome that fobia but I can't, the saddest thing is that I like to see them and I'd really like to have one 😢 Sorry for my bad English, I'm learning. It's taken me such a long time to watch clips of Steve Irwin. I grew up loving animals and learning how to capture them and respect nature around me and the biggest portion of it is due to Steve. I couldn't wait for a new episode of Steve and especially his family every week. My mom has this favorite picture of mine holding a bullfrog when I was 7 years old and I remembered how to pick it up and hold it. The loss this family feels daily I can't imagine at all! Even though I never met him, I felt like I knew him and looked up to him...brings tears to my eyes remembering how down to earth and amazing he really was. I'm only 10 years older than Bindi, so I'm not too old haha. I do remember the special episodes of the Irwin's showing Bindi and Robert when they were born and watched them start becoming part of their dads tv show...

The footage of Steve, Terry, and Sui brought back memories. My boys absolutely loved watching Crocodile Hunter when they were growing up. I couldn’t believe Steve jumped on crocs and was so crazy! It was great entertainment for all of us. 😃

They're the most gorgeous dogs the staffy. My dad rescued a male staffy that was getting bashed up (by people and dogs) to the point that one time it damage his voice box. He turned out to be the most loving, goofy dog you will ever met. He loved everything, dog, cat, humans no matter what. He passed away years ago but I loved him so much. Every staffy I met has the same loving, loyal personality. I love all dogs, but when I see a staffy my heart just throbs 💕💕

I actually remember how you got your name!!! I remember suey. My cousin had a dog lucy that looked just like her and she went thru two toddlers which was a lot on a semi old pup. My cousin would often bring her to the vet to get her nails done and a wash and she'd do her up with little bows. I remember that dog being your dad's little shadow. So glad to see you guys talk about her I know she was part of your pack. The first irwin child ❤️

when i was a toddler, we had a pit lab mix named puppo, she was the most patient and m ost protective dog ever, my grandma told me one day i had my whole arm down puppo's throat and she just looked at my grandma like "are ya gonna do somethin here or?" she was awesome.

One of the pictures in the Google Doodle is Crocodile Hunter in his boat Sui next to him while Crocodile Hunter was holding a camera. In the water was Acco they were going to nab him I remember that story. Crocodile Hunter was in his boat with Sui and they had Acco on a line. The boat was rocking, it was night, and Acco tried to escape. Sui jumped out headed for the beach and Crocodile Hunter hung on as Acco tried to sink the boat. Eventually Acco sank the boat but Steve reeled him in and where is Acco now? in a pen at the Zoo keeping The Irwins on their toes and always ready to strike out and go after a lawnmower or a boar when they come in to feed him.

She was born in 1988 and died in 2004. And since Steve insisted on everything getting filmed, a tribute episode ended up releasing dedicated to her final days

For those who don't know, as far as I'm told, Sui died while out with Steve, pretty sure he was on a lookout for crocs. There were a couple of blokes who Steve didn't really know, they had guns and he told them specifically "if Sui goes after something don't shoot any rounds". Steve was right not to trust them as Sui died after being shot.
