Bindu is the Atmic point between duality and nonduality, the nucleus where all sound and light emanate from, creating the various layers of the body, mind and psyche.
Bindu is the source of the Amrit, or nectar, that drops down from the back of the head to manipura where it is consumed in the flames at Manipura, leading to old age, sickness and death.
In this meditation you learn how to reverse the flow of Amrit from Manipura back to Bindu - preserving life force, reversing the aging process and turbo charging the expansion of consciousness.
This full length guided meditation yoga nidra session leads you through the process of discovering the location of Bindu, reversing the flow of Amrit, following the inner sounds of Nada and learning to see through the Higher Dimensional Eye of the Self, or Atman.
A key to the practice: When moving prana/amrit from Vishuddhi to Bindu forget about the contours of the body and focus in a straight line fron Vishuddhi, Ajna and Bindu (as if you were looking directly at the chakras from the front side of the body). This makes it much easier to inject prana into the higher chakras when we consider Bindu as being located just above Ajna and completely forget about the curves of the head.

Wow the pranayama stuff at the end was pure genius. I've never done anything like that in a yoga nidra. It was extremely powerful. I felt that a hole open in the bindu and energy was poured in. And it indeed reinforces your ability to connect to pure consciousness. These are weird times, so much absolute bullshit everywhere destroying your ability to focus for more than 15 sec, yet profound teachings and practices available so easily - many had to travel thousands of miles and risk their lives for such things back in the days. Now, more than never, it's really about the choices you make, as beautifully illustrated in the Baghavad Gita. Many thanks for your work and lots of love from Europe.🙏

Studied with a Gitananda teacher 35 years ago for a total of 11 years. We studied and practised Bindu Visarga but realize that ,that ,was exactly what it was. Thanks for helping me feel it deeper. A bit of a light bulb moment for me. Namaste enjoyed so much your information on Non.duality/duality etc. Thanks you.

I was able to complete Bindu Visarga for a second time. I had tried once on Sunday, but I fell asleep halfway through due to exhaustion. I did it once on Monday, and it went okay, but I lost consciousness around the breath awareness part for a little bit. I tried again on Wednesday, but someone called me during the body scan and the KZbin app stopped playing suddenly, which is nonsense.🤣 Anyway, I managed a fully alert pass today. I truly enjoy multiple rounds of the body scan when doing yoga nidra as it relaxes me further. I had taken a cold shower before, so when the video prompted awareness of my left foot during the first round, I had to mentally tell myself to stay awake. After the points of contact with the floor (bed in my case) and the second body scan round, I was wonderfully calm. While resting my gaze on Chidakasha during breath awareness, it felt like I was gently breathing through my closed eyelids as the darkness seemed to expand and contract with each breath, haha. Altogether, that was quite pleasant. Ujjayi pranayama was still a bit challenging due to postnasal drip and obstructive apnea affecting my throat, but I did what I could to keep going without straining too much. I should have noted that the description indicated not to focus on the contours of the body when visualizing the flow of Amrit to Bindu. Were we supposed to maintain Ujjayi for the breaths moving the "awareness serpent" along the frontal and spinal passages? I did both times I was able to finish the whole video, but I wasn't sure. Focusing on sounds at Nada was easier the second time around, but the Atman segment was challenging. My mind started to generate thoughts rapidly to the degree where I had trouble focusing on nothing, so I either refocused on Chidakasha or my breath or forcefully got rid of a thought as mentioned in the earlier sequence. There were several brief moments during breath awareness and during the breaks in the thought creation step (my unpleasant thought was extreme cold in past situations) where I noticed my mind being so still and without thought that I was on the verge of falling asleep, and I had to snap out of it and focus on listening for the next instruction. I am not sure why that didn't happen during the Atman stage nor during the ten minutes of silent meditation both times.🤔 Normally, I am able to remain in a calm, mentally still state during the meditations of the other yoga nidra videos, but perhaps, I am not used to maintaining that state after Ujjayi pranayama. I enjoyed it (the video) a lot! I felt incredibly rested once the session was complete. Oh, on a separate note, is your Patreon active?

Namaste, blessed Self! Timing is so crucial in meditation, what has helped many meditators is to set aside a certain time of day to regularly practice. The mind is always responding to patterns. The more we can control the environment of our meditations the better. Ideally having a meditation room under lock and key, a regular meditation time, meditation attire, a particular incense for meditation, etc. will all help get the mind working with you kzbin.info/www/bejne/gp2Yi2ujbb6Cpa8. The experiences you are having of the breath at chidakasha are excellent indicators that the DIvya Chakshu, Divine Eye Chakra, is becoming active. Excellent! Continue! Ujjayi pranayama is so subtle, it truly is just a little more than a thought. It can be there any time you tune into the breath to magnify the prana. It is really like taking the broad flow of the breath and focusing it into a laser through willpower and just barely squeezing the glottis. We should be doing this very gentle ujjayi pranayama any time we are moving prana around the body. It is like zooming in on the prana shakti within the breath. Technically, Ujjayi is labeled as a 'sensitizing pranayama', used to make one's awareness more sensitive to prana. It sounds like you are having excellent progress with Nada Yoga, the more that we become aware that everything in manifest existence has a corresponding sound (even our thoughts) the more the dimension of sound opens itself up to us. As far the mental silence coming and going during seemingly inopportune moments of the meditation, it is a good sign that you were able to experience total mental silence at one point, especially since you kept yourself awake! It doesn't always happen when we want it to, this is also one of the limitations of a recording, which can't quite keep up with each person's individual experience. This practice of allowing the mind to wander, then calling it back until it becomes completely blank is called 'antar mouna' (inner silence), and I will be doing an entire guided meditation on this soon, as it is a complete method in itself for experiencing absolute meditative bliss and transcendence. Also, my patreon page is up and running and I have just begun production on a monumentally huge new project that those patrons will be privy to! That link is here: www.patreon.com/sridevidas Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed response, and if there is any way the meditation could of been better for you personally, please don't hesitate to let me know! Yes, I try to make each meditation a stand alone practice, however, I only mention the location of the chakras once in passing in this session, so please do be very wakeful. That being said, you will gain the most from this series by starting at Muladhara. Thank you so much for listening and giving the offering of your feedback. Hari Om

Namo Narayan Diane, I am offering many workshops on yoga nidra and meditation on my website: tripurayoga.org/event If you really want to learn about yoga nidra as a form of meditation I suggest that you take the Yoga Nidra Teacher Training workshop at the above mentioned page. You may also want to also start with the video 'Yoga Nidra Level 1' on this channel and work you way up to level 5. Begin with smaller duration sessions in the beginning as you are developing awareness and relaxation. When you are able to stay awake, motionless and aware for an entire session you are ready to look for a yoga nidra that is of longer duration. Hari Om, ~Sri Devidas

Thank you! This is absolutely awesome. Is Bindu a chakra? Many of the chakra schemes I see do not mention it at all, although it is often referred to in Yoga Nidra scripts.
@TantraForLife

Technically Ajna is the last chakra, because the chakras are situated in Sushumna Nadi, and Sushumna Nadi ends at Ajna. Everything in Sushumna Nadi is within duality, it is part of our manifest existence, anything beyond Sushumna is outside of duality and part of our nonmanifest existnece. Bindu is not a chakra, as such, but a point. It is the point where universal consciousness Paramatman becomes individual consciousness, Jivanatman. It is the doorway to Sahasrara Padma, which is again not a chakra. To understand Sahasrara Padma consider the electrical infrastructure of a metropolitan area: The chakras are the transformers stepping down the high voltage of electricity to more useable frequencies. However, Sahasrara is the nucleur reactor in the core of the power plant. Thank you for your question and for participating!! Hari Om

Thank you that is a clear and beautiful answer. One more question: Am I better served by following the same Yoga Nidra script many times so that it becomes familiar, or is it more beneficial to follow a different script each time and keep it fresh?
@TantraForLife

@@marcusjclark It depends on what you are using it for. People using yoga nidra for therapeutic reasons can go on using the same session for as long as it provides relief. However, for the yogis using this channel, there comes a certain point when the recording itself becomes a limitation. The actual recording is meant to serve as a departure point for you to internalize the practices and then integrate them into your own meditations. For example, maybe one technique during yoga nidra will give you a powerful tool for silencing the mind; now you can integrate that into your sitting meditations, the brief moment between two thoughts anywhere at any time, etc. Eventually each technique is internalized and this allows you to do it much faster and more efficiently. The body scan for example, my siksha guru, Swami Niranjanananda, taught that the mind should alternate around the body parts very very fast, so that you can relax and transcend the physical body in a moment. Rather than body scan taking 15 minutes, it can take 5 seconds when the practice in internalized. Same goes for every other technique being shared in these sessions. A personal home practice of meditation, starting with just 10 minutes every day, is essential.

I don't place ads in the middle of my videos. This is coming from KZbin's end. There is nothing I can do about it. As a solution I have offered a downloadable Mp3 version of this here: tripurayoga.org/product/the-complete-tripura-yoga-library/ Otherwise, if you are really using KZbin this much then maybe you should consider upgrading to their premium ad free experience.
