What’s really helped me get out of a major slump lately was to dial wayyyy back on my mindless distractions (Instagram scrolling, iOS games, etc). Once I removed a bunch of those things I was just doing to fill time, I felt my focus return and I was able to sit and read a book without feeling antsy to do something else again. ❤

Thanks for this video! I just finished Someone We Know and it FINALLY got me out of a slump. I discovered this video AFTER reading it, but... I do think thrillers are a good method to get out of a slump :) It's going to be my new go-to method!

I love graphic novels! For a reading slump I can also reccomend Sprite and the Gardener! It is such a cute book, have you read it?
