That that simple of a thing shocked him so much because Dennis is the solitary resolute one to make Kevin come out and the whole time she never let’s go him showing that she actually cares for them or these personalities and Kevin himself then when Kevin does arrive he’s in awe of her he noticed how much better she is and she tells him good news instead of burdening him the the bad of where he is and what’s going on...... I don't think Casey touching Dennis shocked him because he's solitary Dennis has sexual urges to watch young possibly underage girls dance naked. The majority of people would feel disgusted by Dennis because of that so thats why he's a loner no one would wanna be near him never mind touch him but Casey touching him and showing empathy shocks him because Dennis did abduct her and he was probably expecting Casey to be hateful, angry and disgusted by him and she isn't. She doesn't even show any fear of him either she has no ulterior motive unlike Dr Staple she just wants to help Kevin. In my opinion Casey made Dennis feel vulnerable and that allowed Kevin to briefly reemerge and talk to her because Dennis and probably Patricia now realise Casey wants to help Kevin and she empathises with him rather than ridiculing him and the others. Remember their primary goal is to protect Kevin at all costs Patricia even told Casey in Split that they've made Kevin sleep now and calling out his full name won't bring him back into the light yet he emerged to speak to Casey again and he could only have done that if he was allowed to.

I love this scene. Don’t get me wrong I think the acting for all personalities is prefect but for some reason Dennis and Kevin are my two favorites to see. The way Casey affects them both is beautiful to see because the expression in the eyes and face. I swear I wish there was a movie dedicated to the horde itself. I’d watch it

James McAvoy is a phenomenal actor and these movies in which he plays different personalities just shows off his superb acting so well.

I think the mark of a good actor/actress is someone who can play any role and make you believe you’re seeing the character not the actor/actress. James McAvoy is definitely one of them.
@EntoSanto3 жыл бұрын
McAvoy's best performance ever. Not just to act, the character itself is so massively difficult to portray. And yet, he was amazing at it.

I wish Kevin was in the light more. But I think that he would have let the girls go if he’d had the light for even 5 minutes. But I think there could have been a different ending/story if he’d been allows more time.
