I used to strongly believe this. And the next couple seasons definitely were not up to par with seasons 1-4. However, having revisited these post-movie seasons and future seasons after it, I can comfortably say that Spongebob’s still got it. Bananas are actually a food that it's common to be mildly allergic to in it's raw form, but perfectly able to enjoy in cooked foods. The proteins in the banana mimic a pollen that some people get hives from, so it's mimics the reaction. But cooking breaks the proteins down so it doesn't cause the reaction.

They also have non-alcoholic mixed drinks like Speci(sprite and Pepsi, but I’m not sure about how I wrote it), so there would be things for kids as well, with the flavor that Spongebob and Patrick ate being the adult only flavors. Also, the bar they were in was shown to be a different location to eat ice cream, since the kids were shown at a table by Goofy Goober. So that bar could have been an adults only location for eating alcoholic ice cream.
