Hey Bingo! Extrem Nice! But i have to know if this System works with a Mosfet? All my L85 have a Mosfet for the normal Gearbox. Can i put the battery under der Gearbox system? What type of batteryplug is that?

failtal1ty To have the trigger work properly, you have to short out the battery leads before they get to the MOSFET. So you can remove the MOSFET and then short the battery leads together, or you can leave it in place as long as you can short the leads before it gets to the MOSFET. Yes, you can keep the battery and FCU in the back under the engine if you want, instead of running the wire harness to the front.

failtal1ty Yes, if you just purchase the chassis you can install your SMP and use the M4 nozzle. Nothing else is needed.

I'm having a hell of a time installing this on my L85. It seems that the engine and engine box will not move forward enough to let it sit in its correct position. No mods have been done to this gun besides changing out the front rail system. Also when I remove the inner barrel and hop up and the engine is sitting in its correct spot I can not close the upper and lower together because the fire selector rod, which is on the lower end and runs from the trigger assembly to selector, gets in the way and will not let it close. basically the only way i can get the upper and lower to close up ,with the engine inside, is to remove the hop up and that selector rod. pleeeeeease halp

MrDeath yes! What you have to do is really weird, but trust me on this, it worked great for me. When you receive the package containing the chassis, there should be two small 3D printed pieces included. Both of the pieces go on the rear end of the chassis, but you have to figure out which one goes where. ( it’s a 50/50 chance, if you get it wrong the first time just flip them ) Once you see that they fit in snug and properly, you have to superglue the pieces to the chassis itself. Make sure you use a decent brand, and nothing hot as it might melt the plastic. Also be careful not to push it too hard when fitting the upper and lower receiver back together, hope this helped.

MrDeath also I forgot to mention, there’s a slot on the left side that’s cut out for the selector rod. Be EXTREMELY gentle with this, it breaks easily. No biggie if it breaks, you could always order another from the same distributor, shouldn’t cost too much

I've just recently got this and I'm having so much trouble! The gun double feeds with the engine in and it seems that is to big for the Gun? If I close the gun back together the trigger contacts don't work and the engine doesn't fire. Works perfectly fine without the engine in place I know it's a couple years after you guys have commented but any chance you can help?

So if I want to convert my l85 carbine to HPA, I get this kit and I'm good (with air rig/tank) or do I need to get the Polarstar Jack as well. If I must get the PJ then how do I put it in?

This is the kit. I believe he makes an SMP and a PJ kit. This replaces the gearbox and that's all.

Sadly, I did - Dont bother, it was a total waste of $$. The install is no way as easy as this vid makes out, it doesnt fit and breaks if you try and force it.
