I was reading that a little saw is used to sand down the contact point between teeth so that the matrices fit better. Is that true? Can that part be skipped or the matrices won't fit any other way?

but with this method comparing layering technique you will have more shrinkage and thus more discoloration later as well!

Salim A thanks for your comment. I do not agree. If there is shrinkage it surrounds the tooth and making Bioclear more retentive. Also, the Bioclear restoration is cured forming a oxygen inhibited layer which is more stain resistant unlike layered conventional composite which when cured the surface is only partially cure because it is exposed to ambient oxygen. .
