Biohydrogel kann man sich wie einen Schwamm vorstellen der bei Regen Wasser aufnimmt und bei Trockenheit wieder langsam abgibt, der Wasserfluss im Boden an sich wird nicht blockiert oder eingeschränkt.

@@bokuwien Stimmt so aber nicht :) Trägt man Biohydrogel grossflächig aus, lässt es bei mässigem Regen nichts durch - da es das Wasser speichert. Erst wenn es gesättigt ist, kommt überschüssiges Wasser weiter nach unten. Inwiefern das eine Rolle spielt oder nicht wird dann wohl rausgefunden speziell da, wo Reservoire auf das Grundwasser zugreifen. Und es dann plötzlich fast keines mehr gibt ? Trotzdem eine super Innovation

Gibt es schon Tests oder Erkenntnisse, wie sich dieses Material auf die Mikro-Fauna und allgemein auf Lebewesen im Boden auswirkt, wie Würmer, Bakterien, Eier und Larven von Nützlingen usw. Speziell im Biolandbau arbeiten wir daran diese zu stärken und den Boden so wenig wie möglich mit „Agrochemikalien“ zu belasten. Vor einem großflächigen Einsatz am Feld müsste dies unbedingt untersucht werden. Are there any test results or findings regarding the effect of this substance on the micro fauna and in general on living organisms in the soil? E.G. worms, bacteria, insect eggs and larvae of beneficials. Especially in organic farming our main goal is to promote these living beings and to affect the soil as little as possible with agrochemicals. This should absolutely be tested before bringing it out on the field.

Auf jeden Fall! Detaillierte Forschung ist im Gange, aber vorläufige Studien zeigen keine negativen Auswirkungen auf Bodenlebewesen.

Ohne auf wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen zurückgreifen oder diese gar zitieren zu können denke ich, dass ein hoher Anteil an quellfähiger organischer Substanz einem Boden nicht schaden kann. Das Hydrogel erscheint mir als Weiterentwicklung der guten alten organischen Düngung.
