You are like, "XYZ is zip zab zoo (saying exactly what it is, not the book definition, not trying to impress)." EVERYONE ELSE IN LIFE is like those Better Help TV commercials for depression. I have found that those who can explain things in simple terms ACTUALLY understand concepts. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THIS CHANNEL!

Because we can't understand how diffusion of gases occur in our lungs and tissues without understanding Henry's law and concept of partial pressure. But ya, he great teacher. He is teaching way better than the teachers at our schools.👏

Great video, thank you. I have a question-does Henry’s Law indicate that something like pursed lip breathing (where you exhale slowly through pursed lips thereby increasing intra abdominal pressure) will, in effect, ‘push’ more O2 into the bloodstream from the lungs? I’m thinking here in terms of benefits to sport performance and better O2 uptake. Thanks in advance 🤙🏽
@oxycope8821 Жыл бұрын
You should give some numerical examples and show some calculations. When the students are familiar with the calculations and can apply the law to new situations, only then will it be fully understood. Until then, the knowledge will only be superficial.

There is column called stripper column in petrochemical refinery that is attached to distillation column and it uses the Dalton law of partial pressure to reduce partial pressure and facilitate distillation. Steam is injected into the column to reduce the partial pressure of the hydrocarbon for distillation.
