isn't the tectum the total name given to both the superior and inferior colliculi?

Tectum means 'roof' which is basically the collection of SC and IC for visual/auditory reflexes. Did I misspeak?

@@DrMattDrMike Do you guys have a Neuroantomy/Physiology textbook you reccomend? The only ones I can find are those that just label the anatomy of the brain nothing else
