I completely stopped using BR when they went vegan and changed a lot of their products. I'll never forgive them for getting rid of the original placenta serum. Not sure why they felt the need to cater to the vegan market since that just wasn't their brand. The should've kept all products and added vegan options and let the consumer decide which one they wanted to use...only thing I use occasionally now is the lotion P50V 1970....I'm still bitter lol

Thank you for this video Desi and for your honesty. It is pity they are discontinuing all of their best products and replacing them with new (cheaper done) products that do not work the same way. I only recently learned from local retailer that they also discontinued Renovateur 24 finishing serum which was amazing it worked for my skin even better than Le Grande serum. Yep when the brands focus more on short term profit than on serving their customers in the long term they lose a good part of their market share.

It's not about using "cheaper" products. They have been harrassed by vegans for years for using animal products ala placenta with calf placenta. The idea is o get the same results with lab work without using animal by-products. Thats also why some have been discontinued

I found out about the serum A-Glyca from you, and holly cow, I really like it! For people who cannot (or do not want) eliminate sugar from their diet, it is a must-have! I used to use almost all BR, but with all the formula changes and even the packaging changes, I hardly use anything from them. I feel like they wanted to appeal to the masses but have def alienated many of the longer users. I miss it but nothing works now. p50-1970 and Lait VIP02 I keep on hand

lait vip O2 is a staple! I still have 3 bottles of the original placenta, it's so sad😔 I'm using cream dermoporifiant + ADN Metamorphique, they both great for 30's combination skin. Have you tried Westman Atlier serum? I heard great things about it.

I have not tried the Westman Atelier serum as I read that it contains Camelia oil and I have a slight sensitivity to it so it would not be a positive experience for me. I’m sure they most probably use quality ingredients though as that’s a staple for the brand. Please, let us know what you think if you happen to try it. 💛

I agree Desi , Biologique Recherche is great for smooth even out skin. It made my skin calm, even out, smooth, got rid of redness, all that , and also made my skin more robust, so now , i can use tretinoin. But yep. That glow not so much. The only twice, my husband noticed the glow, when i started using Curology and when i use Vit C. I also dont use as much Biologique anymore, especially when i started using tretinoin. I used to use 3r serum before, but not anymore needed. For the same reason, i havent used masque Vivant for longtime . I do still like their face wash . I still had old placenta serum. And i use placenta cream and cream masque vernix ( that one probably i would always have, if they keep the same formula). I want to get the adn cream, the one which makes face fuller… . New liposmose i have but i dont really need, i dont have no puffiness. Opposite i need some fullness 😂 i use P50 v but very rarely, because my skin already sensitive from tretinoin every night use . And some days Vit C, which i need to use more ( even if i had to skip tretinoin a few nights), because it does give amazing glow🤪😜 i also use body P50 . I need to try that body cream. But honestly, as we age, and especially after 50, in hormone change age, in my opinion, skincare is not enough anymore. Face does start loose collagen more rapidly, and i am looking into some treatments. Thank God, we are in great technology times, and PRF and PRF gel filler ( all pure natural, your own stem cells) , sounds good to me. My husband doesnt think that i need anything, i do still look much younger, but i dont look 30’s anymore 😂. And its hard, cause i do take care of myself , i feel and my body still looks as it was in 30’s, so i do consider natural treatments, after all in a few months i am going to be 53 🤪….. but As usual great to hear your advises 🙏🙏🙏 Have a blessed day🙏💗

@@giedrebey5444 i am also sensitive to vit c. i am trying a new product (not sure if it is new but new to me) called Tula which has a different version of vit c (can't think of the medical term for it atm) but so far, no irritation and a Derm recommended it to me.

@@michelekoupai thank you i will check it out🙏 i am not really allergic to Vit C and i truly like , the glow it gives. I just have to spaced out my Retinoin use. I cant use retinoin at night, and then Vit C in the morning, i have to cut retinoin use 3-4 times a week, in order to be able to use 2-3 times a week Vitamin C. Otherwise my skin, goes through purge, and then its bad. I cant use anything for 2 weeks. So i just have to be very careful. But if this Vitamin C gives as great glow, i definitely would like to add🤔

Thank you!! 💛 I agree. This is definitely wrong strategy for the brand - they make more money by reformulating but loosing loyal clients. Yes, I have tried P50 body. It’s quite decent but lots of work to cover your whole body and then you also need a cream on top. The pay off is not justified for me. 😄

I love your videos! I appreciate your honest and no-nonsense feedback. I've used P50 1970 on and off for five years. I recently started using 0.1% tretinoin since I'm very oily, acne prone, and have pores that clog very easily. How did you incorporate tretinoin while using P50 1970? I'm terrified of combining them! Your input greatly helps!

Hi!! Thank you!! 💛💛💛 I started with a lower dosage Tretinoin, I believe 0.025% and I only use P50 in the morning. I suggest using P50 only in the mornings and Tretinoin twice a week in the evening and increase with time. Or do not use P50 on the days you use Tret. if you see irritation.

Greate video! Especially for body products, i’m very curious. As for face those Serums are hit and miss, girly agree with you on new collagen serum: bought a big bottle straight away, effect. As al alternative for a-glyka serum I would recommend to take alkaline supplements - it works for the whole body and not just for the face. Thank you 🙏

Thank you for your note! I haven’t heard about Serum de Teint being discontinued but if they do, I’ll be very upset. It’s very difficult to replace with anything…The closest is the new The Foundation by Cle de Peau or the Tinted Moisturizer by Sisley. On a positive note, I heard BR is coming out with a concealer soon as well.

Definitely apply A-Glyca on whole face including the under eye area. I have found through my audience’a questions that there are many discrepancies. I always follow BR’s advice.

Yes, ISO Placenta contains Cetyl alcohol which is generally considered safe in skincare. It doesn’t necessarily bother me; what bothers me though is the the product doesn’t do anything. Waste of money. 😄

I agree before tretinoin, their 3r serum , renovateur 14 and complex royal, were great. But i cant use them and tretinoin + vit C . So they had to go, because tretinoin and vit C, its irreplaceable. I still liked their Masque Vernix and placenta cream. Also going to get ADN one, to add some lost volume, but just saw in these conversations, that they are changing formula of Vernix. So it looks like its going to be over for them! Because all the best products they discontinued or changed formulations, so its definitely not worth brand. I dont know if they have someone stupid in charge of all those decisions, or they think that we ,the consumers, are stupid, and going keep buying their worthless products!
