amino acid is not NH3 as you said. Amino acid has a structure which consists of a carbon in the middle and it is surrounded by 4 different groups due to its valency 4. The 4 groups are NH2, COOH , H , and R. R can be of any group due to different amino acids. Amino acid is a monomer . Many aminoacids combine to form a protein chain. So as amino acid has carbon hence it is a biomolecule . I think your doubt is clarified.
