Bionic Commando was one of those games that a friend of mine had growing up and I feel there were 3 types of NES kids: The kid who just was a natural at everything, the kid who had to memorize a game to beat it, and the kid who just gave up after level 2 on most games. My friend who had Bionic Commando was the give up type and I was the type that had to have it memorized so we never got to see it through so I appreciate your playthrough you have a very organic style of playing which is fun to watch.

43:06 "Oh yes, someone asked me to tell you that (delta) is in town, located between those mountains. Do you know what it means?" This is a hint about the (technically 4th) communicator, the orange one, which you need for the final 3 levels. I believe the original intent was that you couldn't just blast through the wall in Area 15 and would need to approach that neutral zone from the back by going through the tunnel, but I'm not sure if this is correct. I do know it's possible to swing under the wall instead of shooting through it, and there's a person outside the second room who tells you where Super Joe is located.
