Bionicle is what really got me into Lego, it's what held my friendships together. After Bionicle was stopped, I slowly lost my friends as Hero Factory wasn't the same. Bionicle had a story, one that you could add characters to, Hero Factory has multiple stories that you can't really add too..

Then they had to 'reboot' it. As glad as I am to see it back, it just isn't the same. The storyline is a little too childish. Now the old one, was a lot darker and really held together. (About a 3 month late reply though....)

LEGO had decided in a quick decision to end the storyline all of a sudden because sales started to drop -- hence the low budget they had to work with. Greg even wrote the plot for the Great Beings Maze -> Bota Magna movie.

Again? I never got the chance! :-( I only got really into Bionicle for the Mahri and the Phantoka!!! But now, I am expanding my collection. I am aiming to collect every single canister set, and so far I have all of the Mata, and all of the Stars! Also, the other day I bought three Kanohi packs. I got: 2x Pakari, one brown and one blue; 1x Rau, orange; 1x Matatu, lime green; 1x Komau, tan; and 1x Akaku, blue.

I never think of Bionicle as Lego Bionicle- I have no idea why (Probably because it is so DIFFERENT to any other line). But that just goes to show how much time Lego put into Bionicle, so much that Bionicle is now its own, seperate entity. DOWN WITH HF!!!!!! Look guys, I am excited about Bionicle being brought back as much as the next guy, but in my opinion, the new one is just no the same. Less exciting story, less fun build, no collectibles, and has a childish story. I know it was meant for kids but seriously? You got to admit that Bionicle will never be truly back. it is a memory that we must cherish. I got off the hype train. I am 14 almost 15 and now that my generation of bionicle is over, I have to focus on other things like school and real life. (R.I.P. Bionicle Gen 1, you will always be in my heart.)

The new Bionicle is simply warming up. Once it reaches its prime, I won't be surprised if it is greater than the original ever was. As a Christian, I see the great themes of unity and faith which defined the original have been carefully put into the spotlight of the new story. It takes everything that Bionicle did correctly and fine-tunes them to near perfection.

Kenneth Webb The new series is just a waiting game at this point to see it rise back to greatness. Granted, the builds are a little simpler, but the same thing happened in 2006 onward, when all the builds were basically the same. I think it will be back to the standard it was in a few years.

I always imagined Kiina singing this. The lyrics kinda suggest what happens after Bionicle ends, and the new adventures her and her friends will go on. Mata Nui promised her he would take her to a new life because she hated the world she called home. When Mata Nui reformed Spherus Magna, he brought a new world to her by creating a new planet. Now she can truly call it home, and the lyrics say "take me home" multiple times. Plus, the singer does sound a bit like her.

The difference with bionicle and HF is that with the Bionicle sets you were inspired to make your own bionicle Toa, Matoran etc. but with HF I felt no inspiration, ESPECAILLY with the first generation of HF, what the hell were they thinking! Stiff limbs and weapons that only looked good from a certain angle.

I remember going to the bionicle website all the time as a kid, I used to watch all the videos over and over and always checking if there were new sets... In late 2008 or eraly 2009 I remember they didn't update the website for like a whole month, or 2 or 3... And I remember that it was at this time I realized it was over. 2002-2008 best years of my life. Thankful for those times.

"a masterpiece". So true! How did the makers ever imagine something that seemed so mystic, yet with technology from another era? Where did that great idea come from? From the beginning, it had a shroud of darkness and mystery awaiting to be uncovered, and continued to be that way even to the end. The series brilliantly lived up to its motto: "In The Time Before Time..." More than once I've dreamt about where Bionicle could take its wonderful story next. Not "R.I.P. Bionicle", Long Live Bionicle.

I was so sad about Bionicle ending that I wrote my own fanfiction about Bionicle characters being hunted by Hero Factory, and thanks to Hero Factory's stupidity, 3 "new" Toa appeared that could control 2 elements instead of 1. Kopaka controlled Ice and Stone, Gali controlled Water and Earth, and Tahu controlled Fire and Wind. My MOCs were simple, but somewhat decent. I need to get better parts for Gali, her joints are really loose, and I need a Gali Mistika and Kopaka Phantoka mask so that they'll fit the Metru Nui heads better. I have the Tahu Stars mask, so it works fine.

As much as I love Bionicle, all of the sets I owned (apart from my Toa Matoro Mahri, Makuta Antroz, and Makuta Chirox) are all in pieces being used for MOCs... Why I did that is unknown, but I am now going to collect as many Bionicle G1 sets as I can!
