This means, that PeaMan DECIDED to dress for homecoming. Like. This movie is one of those preteen movies you always forget existed but when mentioned it brings That's so Raven levels of tunnel vision and you remember all of it yet retain none of it at the same time.

Once Wendy tells her friend to stop putting snot on her shirt, the friend begins to praise her for everything she is and does. This is similar to "The Beach" episode, when Tai Lee begins to complement Azula and praise her while putting herself and others down.

The production on this actually was heavily related to that of Power Rangers. Disney owned Power Rangers at the time and three of the actors in this movie are from power rangers. The stunts and fight choreo were done by Koichi Sakamoto who, as you guessed, is the fight choreo/stunt director for Power Rangers.

Honestly, if I had to choose 2020 Mulan or this, I'd pick Wendy Wu Homecoming Warrior ANY DAY. Mostly because it's just its own thing and not a pathetic attempt to reboot a good movie to "Appeal to Chinese people" when really it's just a cash grab. Plus, it won points for appealing to my younger self's love for power rangers. Wendy may not have been a good character but I'll always have a special place in my heart for this movie.
