I used to go to a local pawn shop where their DVDs were all $1-$3 each and buy stacks of them to put on while drawing and writing. I discovered a lot of hidden gems that way, and this was one of the ones I treasured most. I was born in 1990 to a very goth mom, so weirdness never put me off, usually had the opposite effect. I showed this movie to a lot of my friends in HS and they all thought I was cracked for loving it, but I was definitely the person they went to to find trippy films :p

FLCL is such a vibe with its expression and animation, just whitch it didnt have the made in abyss syndrome and had so many werid stuff happen with young characters

i keep hearing people telling this story saying that the people at the parties said he didn't drink much or wasn't drunk. I think that they are lying about how drunk he was because they are underage and also could potentially be legally liable for giving him alcohol and then he hurt himself or worse.

I watched the FULL RECOBBLED cut here on KZbin of what the ORIGINAL CUT would have been. I DO hope that there are animators out there who would be brave enough to go back and FINISH the scenes. 🤣 it'll be a feat, but... 😶 WAY BEYOND MY capacity, Id admit. Im more comic based. I GUESS I COULD work on the bumbling soldiers ... 🤣 But, anywho, it was, despite the unfished scenes, made WAY MORE SENSE and was A LOT FUNNIER with out the ADDED IN DIALOG with the Thief and Tak. 🥰 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!! Go check it out!!!!! And the Thief is BY FAR THE BEST DUMB CHARACTER! 🤣 He's EVERY AITA story on REDDIT!!!!

In light of recent situations, hearing Bionic endorse Honey was a hit. (Tldr: they took money from those who they "sponsored" by taking the comission and basically being massive dookie heads. check out legal Eagle)

I know Garfield is a prankster but when I think of Garfield I mainly think cosy thoughts: this lazy cat, speaking slowly, getting cozy under a fluffy blanket with his teddy bear while he eats delicious foods and then falls asleep feeling safe and satisfied. Meanwhile, it seems like they tried to make this into an action movie. I didn't even know this movie was already in theaters before this review.

Apparently if you try to remind people that women are human too, that is too much. It might make a grape ist feel bad, we have to protect the gentle sensibilities of people who do this to women. I just want to remind people of the just discovered 70,000 men chatroom were men were giving each other advice on how to grape their mothers, grandmothers, sisters and daughters, with video evidence. Let's also not forget the case of Gisèle Pelicot! These grape ists still see themselves as the victims because they don't see women as people, just that thing that's supposed to satisfy them and just sh*t up about it, so reminding these people of women's humanity is making them uncomfortable and for some reason the people that canceled this show think it's important to protect the feelings of criminals instead of showing them the effect they have on their victims.

I watched this movie back in 2013, I think. I forget how I found out about it, but I was still in high school at the time, and I remember falling in love with it. Not only its art style, which plays with perspective so interestingly, but also the soundtrack. I also found the dialogue to be very memorable because of its interesting cadence. "I've heard about...creatures like you." Was a sentence that played over and over and over in my mind, even years after I first saw it. I listened to the soundtrack almost on repeat. There are some tracks that I like more than others, but even as a whole, it's one of my favourites still. I was so happy when Song of the Sea became a more widespread movie - I had hoped it would spark interest in the other films also made by the studio.

I can honestly understand why this movie is perceived as racist in a culture of cancellation, political correctness and performative activism. This movie exposes exposes stereotypes just as a horror film shows blood and violence, as a way to reach people through discomfort, causing an unsettling feeling. Today, most media products try to comply with progressive agenda by showing minorities in empowering roles taking part in a more inclusive society at the same time that avoid stereotypes in an attempt to avoid misinterpretation and controversy. Productions like that end up sugarcoating the harsh reality. It is no surprise that a movie like this one will be seem as racist and offensive nowadays.

Honestly the animation is so well done you can trick your brain into thinking its 3D. That boat scene! The camera movement, the lighting, the fluid motion and the illusion of depth are perfect

Rat is my favorite character from this movie despite the fact he doesn't do much and is more of a backgrownd character so I don't want any of the crew members to die because I like them. Maybe Dreamworks could make a seekwell , but I don't think they would make a good seekwell for this movie now , mostly because they changed to a yunger audience unlike ther early 2D movies witch were a bit more mature ( I am not saing their new movies are bad I like some of them ). I alsow think that the seekwell for this movie must be in 2D and I don't think Dreamworks is going to make 2D movies any time soon or ever for that matter.

Bakshi isn't hard to stomach they are just stupid. And not original at all. I liked wizards though. "Hey capitalism and racism are bad" cops are pigs maaaaan. Police brutality maaaaan. Yea we haven't seen these themes in movies before. Or maybe I've seen them in just about every so called " deep film" ever made. Just lib drivel mixed with off putting animations and occasionally fun scenes. Coon skin was kinda cool and scatman crothers is maybe my second or third favorite actor ever

How did this get it cancelled when episode 1 of season 3 literally says ‘the final season of moral Orel’ ‘1/13’
@radiohoed2 күн бұрын
When the scripts were shown to the higher ups, they said the show couldn't continue but they'd let them air this season as a finale. So they knew it was going to be the last season before it aired, just not while writing it

I know this is an old video so saying this here doesn't mean too much ig lol but everything down to the music choice, to the calm delivery, this already is such a pleasure to watch. I often come back to videos like this over and over when i need to relax. So thank you again. I understand the whole deletion of newish content and really hope you get back into and find joy in this again, because it helps so much.

I did merchandising work for Disney, Roadshow, Paramount etc. Disney would release movies on DVD for a certain time frame in stores. If a store was found to have sold a movie after the time frame had expired, Disney would contact the store and threaten to sue. The day before the time frame expires on any movie was close, we would have to go to all stores and ensure the movies had been removed. They have untold power even Wesfarmers in Australia are scared of them, Coles and Woolworths would ensure ALL Disney demands were met, Australia wide.
